The blower resister is near the blower motor, mounted on the outside of the blower box,but actually goes inside the blower box. It~s function actually is to give the blower motor lower speeds. If it is only working on high, then this is the problem. If it works on high when you select a lower speed, then there is a high blower motor relay that is stuck in the closed position .Replace the relay.

2006 nissan titan. Replaced vbc and still only have high speed blower. Is there another part i should be looking at?

Blower resistor
Or possibly bad Vbc if aftermarket part
Had that happened on different vehicles trying to save a buck
Bought the better or OE part and problem solved.

2008 Nissan titan AC relay compressor won't power up help

A low freon level will cause the compressor to not operate by not grounding the relay. Some Nissans also use the heater motor resistor to make the relay operate. If your heater speeds do not function on all settings the resistor could be the problem

2011 Nissan Titan heater/ac fan blows on high we replaced the VBC it did not fix it, now what?

What is VBC? Ah, probably Variable Blower Control? my guess you got wires crossed, or a short around the control or even direct short to hot (12vdc) wire. Double check your work, wire connections. Instructions? with the new? double check.

My 2006 blower fan switch only has a high. As soon as I turn it on it goes to high. Would this also be the relay?

this sounds like a bad blower motor resistor board that has gone bad. they are designed to work only on high if they go bad so you will still have the blower to defrost the windows.

Control knob for heater/ac works on high only.

This problem is caused by the blower speed control resistor being defective for the blower motor. The resistor is located near the blower motor under the dash.
