My personal suggestion would be to go for these repair catalogs. I know this website reliable-store that i used to buy them from, and they sold online it was very good manual. Go ahead, I bet.
if your car starts after putting gas in throttle, means that you have no sufficient fuel feeding and one cause is the injection system not providing the need fuel, pressure regulator the second cause,or the fuel filter is blogged.
In most cases problems with idle speed involve the idle air control valve or a dirty throttle body. The computer controls idle speed by how much air is allowed into the intake thru the control valve. If the throttle is not sticking, I would check the valve and the bore of the throttle body. You could also have a vac leak but that would usually be a constant problem.
is the your car is after year 1997 up to 2005. it's v6 engine engine no should start from 112 that's the Mercedes Benz specification, if your car between same manufacturer model, open air cleaner Carrier on engine pull upwards and have a look at back side of the engine, you can see black color air flow meter fitted on back side the engine, that air mass sensor has fitted to the throttle body, if your car don't have the 112 mercedes engine need more details to find which engine belongs to your car, is this information helped you?
A spider injector is located underneath the intake plenum and this is multi-port. Otherwise you have a throttle body injector system. Vortec engines have spider injectors and they are super expensive to replace ($400.00- 850.00) each ! There is only one spider injector for each engine it has 6 legs/fuel tubes that go to each cylinder.
That depends on the engine and fuel system. For example, throttle body runs around 12 PSI as where fuel injection (Injectors on each cylinder) can run up to 40 PSI. Run the pump that fits your vehicle!
Two places to look...if you have separate injectors for each cylinder then regulator should be at the front end of the fuel rail. If you have throttle body injection it is on the throttle body itself.
yes but if you have emmisons in your area the engine must meet or exceed the year of the truck you put it in, so if it does not meet emmisons for the year your putting it on it would be illegal.
An engine from another Corolla up to 1997 will fit. There are 2 engines though. 4A-fe (1.6L) or a 7A-fe (1.8L) They look similar but run different Engine managment computers. The 4A-fe uses a 3spd auto trans and the 7A-fe uses a 4spd auto trans. Also some of the wiring may be different.
Hope this helps.
the only engine that your truck has available is the 4.3 Liter V6, u can install a 4.8 liter V8 or a 5.3 liter V8, but that would be very complicated and costly and u would have trouble getting it certified to pass smog inspections
