Bubbles, Bubbles, Toil & Trouble!

I have an 2005 FX35 & have had my dashboard replaced about 2 1/2 years ago under warranty & now my dashboard looks like it needs a good dose of Proactive! I was told that since I was out of warranty it was up to me to cover the costs. You would think that they would have replaced it with an updated version free of this aparent defect. I guess I just expect too much for the $$$ we spent on the car!

My 05 Avalon rear window shade Is stuck in the up position and how do I get it back down?

Had a similar issue a few years ago while my 2005 Avalon Limited was still covered under an extended warranty, so I didn't pay for the repair but saw the dealership's claim for reimbursement being submitted to Toyota under the warranty. It was well over $1,500, as I recall, possibly as much as $1,700. Dealer said it was largely for labor because the screen is hard to access (or so they claimed). Problem was a short circuit which caused the screen to jam intermittently. Lately, the replacement screen once again doesn't want to raise consistently. Not worth the trouble of repairing, in my opinion, since it could fail again. One option to consider might be if you can push it back down out of sight & then not operate it anymore. Good luck!

I cant find the fuse fog light on fx35 2004

The odds are that the lamp burnt out

You do realize that you will only have about
4 fuses blow in 60 years of driving

If a fuse ever blow out there is a reason,
& replacing it won't fix a thing

Have to crawl under the front of car & reach up & remove the lamp holder

Corroded grounding straps.

Everything is a DIY Job, if you can find, get to & understand
what is needed,if you have enough tools

I would say that a 2005 Vehicle does not have very severe
corrosion issues this soon in it's life

Remove the ends, clean ,use some anti-seize from permatex
& reinstall YES Yourself

Fuse for the cigarette lighter in Infinity FX35

is the only thing not working the cigarette lighter? the fuse that operates it is usually the accessories fuse, it normally operates the interior light as well, which fuse box have you checked, there is most likely one under the bonnet & there also may be one under the dash as well, it might well be that the cigarette lighter element is the problem, try another lighter....hope this helps....cheers

Bubbling of dashboard on 2004 Infiniti FX35

2004 Infiniti FX35 dash board may be mfg issue for Infiniti and you may look to them to solve the problem. I had the problem and they covered the dash part at 100%. I had to pay labor. Wound up at about $200. I had 84,000 miles on the car and outside warranty by over 15 months. Tells me they recognize an issue and will stand behind it. Be pleasant at dealer but insist they request support.

Bubling on Dashboard

This is a very common problem. Just poor manufacturing. I work at an infiniti dealer and we replace these all the time.
