Question about 2001 Chrysler Concorde
I notice when i turn the key three times two codes apper on the dash.they read p1684 and blank lines show up then the code p0700 right after that the engine light flashes on and off about 3 times then the word done comes up. thats all it does ...what do i do, or what do the readings mean?
The fault code P1684 means that power to your powertrain control module (PCM) was interrupted. The most common cause of this is because of a weak battery. When the car is stated, the voltage drops low enough that it cuts power to the PCM for just a brief moment, which will set the fault. It can also be caused by a wiring issue to the PCM, or a bad connection in the battery cable. It may or may not cause issues with drivability. The fault should be thoroughly diagnosed by a qualified technician
What the P0700 code means. P0700 is set when the PCM detects a malfunction in the transmission control system. This malfunction causes the vehicle to set a Check Engine Light and trigger a failsafe mode. Once the failsafe mode is set it will remain until the fault is repaired or normal operation is detected

something has triggered the fail safe ,could be anything from a tail light bulb out to low brake fluid level, but i could be wrong of course and no doubt i am.europeon cars use encrypted software thats designed to be dealer only, american cars ??dont know about this but iam assuming their standard as lots of boy racer ,sunday car mechanics type tools for fault reading??here on a europeon car they tell you your not connected ??connection pins in different places and encrypted software.. makes any fault a dealer only job and lots of money, just to connect computer is around 80€ before you evan pay labour .

You have an internal pressure leak and will likely need a new tranny, sorry but you can take it to a transmission shop to confirm.

302 is misfire on cylinder 2. Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r6715318-causes_gasoline_engine_misfires .
1684 is battery disconnected, which you caused when you disconnected it--you can ignore that. You probably have an intermittent misfire. Please follow my troubleshooting steps and let me know if you have questions.

P0700-This Relates to MIL"Malfunction
Indicator Lamp")( Request - Control System for Transmission
unable to locate description for P1776,can you get all systems scanned for codes again as 0700 just indicates that a fault has occurred that has lit the check light and logged at the ECU.
Obviously it will be related to the shift fault, maybe a speed sensor or a dirty fluid fault.
Get back to me with any extra info.
