There are two adjustment rods one is for horizontal and the other for vertical if the rods are not present you should see two screws next to your light assembly these do the same thing if you do raise it up it should be groin level unless you are really tall then i suggest using a wall to adjust it up so it is level to the other one

First check, is there more than one headlight bulb, if so, the low beam bulb has failed, needs replacing.

If not you'll probably find that the head light bulb has a double filament, low and high beam. The low beam filament has failed. You have to replace the bulb.

a lot of newer cars have seperate fuses for both left and right head lights both high and low beam. you should check your owners manual to see fuse locations and designations for your head lights.

the head lights have tree wires goig to it one groun one gets power when high beams on the 3rd gets power only with low beam on test the wires or try by plugin a good known head light to conector if it works with low beam then replace both head ligts because head light come with two bulbs in one high and low
