Radio/cd player and clock won't turn on in my '95 Toyota Camry

I started my car at night and I noticed it was very quiet and a lot darker than usual. My radio/cd player won't turn on but the eject button still works. My clock is off along with most of the audio system's buttons on the console. All of my gauges are still illuminated along with the cigarette lighter, and air functions. What happened? Did I blow a fuse? How Do I fix it?

Check the "Dome" Fuse in the fuse block next to the battery, also check the "cig/radio" Fuse left instrament panel, behind pop open door.

My 2003 Toyota Camry has an AM/FM radio with a tape player and a CD player. The radio and tape player work fine, but when I insert a CD in the player, it will not play 99% of the time. The CD activates...

Usually it is the drive unit for the CD. The linear tracking device that drives and guides the CD read laser is not tracking. Usually when this happens there is NO fixing it. You might just have to bite the bullet and get a new head unit.

what lights? headlights? dash lights? I would check the connections. If its the starter usually you will hear a heavy "click" when you turn the key.

Radio volume knob turns but won't change volume. Everything else on radio/CD player works. 2000 Toyota Camry

It 's the unit. bring it to a repair facility( fairly easy to remove) and have them do the repair . Its a lot cheaper than buying a new unit. If you decide to do this let me know and I'll tell you how to remove and install the unit.

Radio goes out when start engine. Loses all settings.

Your radio might be shorting out. I would make sure the ground wire hasn't come off.

Remove the battery negative cable for a minute then reattach. This will reset the cd.

CD stuck in player of 2004 Camry

I have observed this situation several times.
What I do to rectify this condition is to remove the radio from the dash, unplug both of the wiring harness connectors at the rear of the radio, and then plug them back in. This "resets" the CD player; but, I have found that just removing the fuses does not "reset" the CD. This should help you out.
Thanks for asking for personal assistance; glad to help; and Thanks for choosing FixYa.

06 camry cd player

Other than replacing or repairing the radio, not much can be done. The dealer can send your out to be repaired, but buying an aftermarket radio is usually a better option. You can get a better sounding, nicer looking radio for cheaper than repairing yours.
