Most likely a air bubble in your system. get it up to temp open up your reservoir use something that will fit in the opening and put coolant into it rev engine up a bit until you see bubbles coming up. when you did the engine did you replace cooling system parts like t-stat or water pump? purging the system of air will take a little while good luck hope that helps

Diagram cooling heating system

If the coolant loss happens when the engine is not running, and there are no external leaks, it has to be going into the engine. And its probably leaking while the engine is running too.
You can burn a large amount of coolant and never see it come out the tailpipe.

I put new heater core in 2002 Buick lesabre went through more than 2 gallons of coolant bleeding system and still no heat running great thermostat working fine

If the engine is reaching normal temp, and both heater hoses are getting hot, the problem could be a blend door under the dash or the controller.

2002 audi a41.8t please help...

something has been left disconnected. look at the back of the head (remove the plastic cover on top of the engine, just there for looks) and make sure everything is hooked up. if not you need to return to this mechanic and have him correct the issue.

2002 audi a4 oil pressure light issue

THOSE NUMBERS ARE VERY GOOD, THE PROBLEM MOST LIKELY IS A DEFECTIVE OIL PRESSURE SENDING UNIT, HAVE REPLACED 100'S OVER THE YEARS FOR THIS SAME ISSUE, GREAT THAT U CHECKED THE PRESSURE THOUGH, IF THE LIGHT WAS INDICATING ACTUAL LOW PRESS U COULD HAVE WASTED THE BEARINGS IN THE ENGINE.

My heat won't work! Air blows out, new thermostat

The hot water from your engine cooling system is not getting into the heater core. Check out the valve that admits water into it.
