2002 VW Jetta won't start

I have no dash lights or power running through the car at all. When I try to start it I hear a click and the digital dash lights will flicker but the car will not start. This is the second time this has happend in the last couple of weeks. Last time I thought it was my battery so I took it to Schucks and had it tested and it was perfectly fine. We put it back in and the car started with no problem. Any ideas what could be going on?

A bad ground cable.,or the battery has damaged plates inside which may fail when the battery is under a load. check the battery cables, terminals and the main ground from the battery to the car.
you could also use jumper cables, and ground the battery to the engine block.

2012 VW Jetta TDI battery won't hold charge and car only clicks and won't start

You need to charge your battery up more. Either get a battery charger or leave the jumper cables hooked up for a longer period of time.
Your battery was probably completely dead. You might even need a new battery...they really don't like to be completely drained.

Check the battery out put to see if it is at least 12.25 volts(may need to have it load checked). If the battery checks good, remove battery cables and clean them real shiney, also the battery terminals, and replace them back on the battery,WARNING,DO NOT DISCONNET THE BATTERY WITHOUT PLUGING A 12 VOLT POWER SOURSE INTO THE CIGARET LIGHTER PLUG,OR EQUAL.If you do not plug in a power sourse to the car,the computer will loose all it`s memory, and will have to go to the dealer to be reflashed.

2002 vw jetta tdi

You need to start with checking the fuses, sounds like they are blown. Fuse panel is on side of drivers dash, you need to remove panel, just pulls off.
