Question about Ford Escort
Ok, There are many areas that the oil could leak from. Head gasket, oil pan gasket, rear main seal, front seal, valve cover gasket. You'll need to locate the leak under the car in order to know which one to replace. There is nothing simple about replacing the rear main seal and although he front seal is easier it can still be a problem. Good Luck.

1999 Ford escort ZX2 2.0 DOHC Was bubbling out of valve cover where plug sits. Replaced the valve cover gasket and the seal in well. Leaked again same placePut in another seal and put sealent aound it let sit for 4 hours next day leaking again. Would the oil sending unit cause this? My nephew who is a mechanic and works at Carmax can not find anything in the system they use.
Any ideas would be a great help. Thanks, Teresia
What year? what size of motor-yes I know it's a 4cyl but is it 1.8 1.9 2.0 OHV or 2.0 DOHC normally you can find this info under the hood on a tag. You have already changed a few items, but what exactly did you change(were on mtr) and were is the oil at that you are trying to seal?
