The heat will not work. No heat.

The heat will not work. When I turn the heat control switch on, it doesn't work in any setting. I have replaced the control unit and blower motor so far--with no luck. I tested the Dark Blue - Dark Green wire--I have power; I tested the Orange - Dark Blue--no power. From the wiring diagram I have, the Orange wire brings power into the control unit from the fuse box. I tested the three power wires that come into the fuse box from the ignition switch and they tested fine with power; however, when I back probe the orange wire at the fuse box, no power is sent to the control unit. I don't know if there is a problem with the fuse box itself or where else to check. Any help would be appreciated.

No power is coming from the control unit to the blower motor resistor. I havn't found the ground.

I checked the power going to the blower motor resistor-no power on any of the four wires. I'm not getting any power to the control unit from the ORG-DRK BLU wire. I tested the pin on the fuse box-nothing.

So you have power to the control unit and the blower motor. Did you check the blower motor resistor? That controls the blower on all speeds except for high speed. Did you check all the grounds? Don't rule out a faulty ground. Make sure the blower motor is properly grounded.

Aircon doesn t turn off even i switch off

Need a little more info but typically upscale cars will run the AC compressor even when not needed. This assists the car with humidity control in the cabin, the heater can easily heat the air that just got cooled and removed some of the moisture. Look for an economy setting, or a way to turn climate control off.

High speed doesn,t work on heater switch.

Pull the heater control panel out of the dash and inspect the blower speed control switch, look for signs of a burnt connector to the switch, it will be discolored looking, if this is the case replace the switch and install a repair connector

I replace the heater blower in my 1989 volvo 740, the heat is now working but the problem is that it only blows after i turn it on #4, doesn't work on lower settings, pls advise

Geraldine,I would venture that the resistor board, usually mounted near the blower motor, has almost gone all the way bad. Have someone check it. Of course,it could be the blower speed selector switch, but probably not.

I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with a digital climate control system. The heat quit working, it doesn't blow out any heat. Now that it is warm outside the air stopped blowing out any air. The digital temperature on the climate control is not correct. When it states that it is below 30 degrees on the ext and it is warm outside the air wont be cold. Once it starts going above 30 degrees the air gets colder. Today the blower stop working all together. Was told it maybe the climate control unit was bad. You can hear the door opening/shutting when you switch the temp from cold to hot. But there was no heat blowing out whatsoever in the winter time. Could you please give me your opinion on whether or not it is the climate control unit or something else?

I have a 99 jetta and the blower switch only works on #3 setting. it doesn't turn to the #1 or off setting. and if I turn it to the #4 setting it turns the blower off.

I am sure this switch was tempered with and rewiring wrongly done. If the switch is okay, get an expert to do the wiring for u. If not, pliz replace. Good luck.

I have an 04 Elenta Gt. When 1st starting my car my steering squells anddoes this when turning sharply . Also today it we had frost and when I turn knob on my heat switch it only worked on the 3rd setting....

Your control switch is worn out - replace it (or have it replaced). The squealing sound you hear when you turn is probably the power steering belt (worn out or just loose). The power steering belt is driven by the water pump pully which also drives the alternator - check both of them. Retention or replace as needed.
