Hi, this is a common problem with the age of vehicle, the main problem is a build up of contaminents in the fuel lines and injector system.
The best way of solving your problem would be to buy a fuel additive you can get these at most garages. Make sure you buy correct type ie petrol or diesel, Red X is a good brand to use and i find it tends to work quicker than other brands.
Follow instructions on the bottle and then give you car a good run about 30min driving time ensures that the cleaner has ran through the complete system you should find that this will solve your problem.

Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok.

If after running the fuel cleaner through you are still having problems then the next step would be to get the plugs and leads changed as this would be the next step you take in finding out the cause of the problem.
You probably find the cleaner will solve your problem.

If you did have a problem with the plugs or leads this wouldnt show up as an error code so just keep that in mind.

I have a 97 deville concours with northstar that keeps giving me a P0300 code and SES light?

wrong
cars seldom idle rough when warming up if the injectors and electronics are in good condition
P0300 refers to random misfires which is the rough idle when warming up
the history in the fault codes is the fault report generated but not maintained as the fault rectifies itself
the ses is probably telling you to service the system--clean the injectors , fuel filter or check fuel pressure

2000 saturn sl2 getting code PO452

I don't have a definition of the code for a Saturn.
The generic definition is for a low pressure reading from the EVAP system. The computer pressurizes the fuel tank and evap system every few minutes to check for vapor leaks. The code means the pressure sensor is showing the tank is not holding pressure which usually means there is a leak somewhere.
If this is happening to your car, it could be the gas cap, a hose from the tank to the vapor canister, a faulty valve, or a leak in the tank.
I doubt it would cause the car to run rough.

2003 SATURN VUE SERIVE ENGINE SOON LIGHT IS BLINKING ON AND OFF RAN THE OBDII READER AND CODE P0304 CYLINDER MISFIRE CAME UP I CHANGE SPARK PLUGS AND BOOTS BUT CAR STILL DRIVES ROUGH SHAKES AND WHEN PARKED...

The P0304 indicates the #4 cylinder is misfiring. The flashing light means the cylinder is not firing at all...It could be several things causeing it, coil, wires, plug, injector or vacuum leak. Do not drive your vehicle until you have this repaired, as it will lead to further more costly problems. Good luck, i hope this helps.

Ses light flashing, truck running rough

Good Evening. I'm sorry to hear your truck is running bad, however I can give you a few points to check on. Your flashing SES light is because you have a misfire in your engine. The misfire could be caused from things like spark plugs and wires or a cap and rotor, low fuel pressure or bad gas. Or the other things like an intake leak or a bad valve so diagnosing is harder without the code that is set while your SES light is on. So get a scanner hooked up and see which cylinder it says is misfiring and go fron there back to the wire to the cap etc. Hope this helps and if you have any more questions please feel free to ask.

How many fuel pumps does a 93 saturn sl2 have? ours will not idle. we have replaced the fuel filter, but are curious about the fuel pump or a possible clog in the fuel line. if we keep our foot on the gas,...

Clogged line is not in reality, It only has 1 fuel pump, And if it runs with foot on gas its not bad. Your issue will be more likely a vacume leak or idle air motor, And in my experiance its the Idle air motor, It has 2 screws and very easy to change,

I would guess it's fuel injectors that need cleaned but I found a great fuel injector cleaner. I believe it's Chevron Techron Fuel System Cleaner.

Trouble codes for saturn ls2 car is showing the following trouble codes. po300, po306, po451 p2bo3 and c112b

P0300 Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected

P0306 Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected

P0451 EVAP Pressure Sensor Range/Performance

I have no idea what those last two are. Typo, maybe?

Your first two codes could be caused by old spark plugs and/or leaking plug wires.

Your EVAP code could be a bad fuel tank pressure sensor or a malfunctioning EVAP system. With that code, if you remove your fuel cap and get a whoosing sound, then it is an issue with your EVAP system not properly venting the tank. If you don't get that sound, then the tank pressure sensor is bad.
