Change ignition coilon clylinder 1 in 2009 Toyota corolla? got the code P0351

First of all, even though the Issue says Coil Pack, that does not necessarily mean the Coil Pack is Bad. It could be a Loose Connection, it could be a Bad Wire, it can also mean a Bad Spark Plug or fouled Injector but to answer your question...

The Coil Pack is located under the Plastic on top of your Engine and Directly connects to the Spark Plug. If I was you I would Swap the #1 and #3 Coil Packs and see if the Fault Code follows the Coil Pack. If it does then replace the Coil Pack. If it stays with the Cylinder, I would be checking the Connectors, Wires, Injector and Spark Plug.

I RECENTLY THINK I HAD PUT SOME BAD GAS IN MY 2001 LINCOLN LS AND IT STARTED TO MISFIRE SO I DROVE ALL THE GAS OUT REFILLED IT WITH SUPREME AND GAS TREATMENT AND STILL WAS HAVING THE PROBLEM WHEN I REACHED...

Without seeing the car would say to do these things. Check for vacuum leaks on hoses, see that the mass air sensors is hooked up properly. Look for exhaust leaks, there could be air **** in causing the oxygen sensor be thrown off. Look at the oxygen sensors to make sure they're not damaged. Next check the ignition system. If the mis is constant disconnect one sparkplug at a time until you find which cylinder is missing. Switch coil packs to another cylinder to verify this. If the ignition seems OK you might have a bad sensor. Mass air or throttle position sensor. Good luck.

I would say try replacing the control module right under neath the coil packs. It could be bad and shorting out the coil packs

1998 Mark VIII Cold Natured and Hard to Stay Started

Check fuel pressure at idle it should be 30psi. Check coil packs and boots for tears. If euip: Check coil packs with a volt meter should read I think was 5-7 volts or resist ens. Also check the spark plugs its probably still got all the factory stuff on it unless you change it. Let me know I had a 98 Continetal and some of the coil packs and boots on the coil packs where bad after fixing that the car was one of the best car's I have ever owned. Until someone ran into it doing 65mph.

Skipping when gets warmed up

Is the check engine light on? If so get the code it will tell yoou which cylinder if it is a coil. These have 8 coils on them I think and each one can go bad. I just replaced all the coil packs on my moms Lincoln, Everytime I would replace one another would go bad, it had 200,000 miles on the old ones. I ended up just replacing them all, because I didn't want her to get off somewhere and have problems.

If it's not thrown a code it is most probably a vacumn leak/bad plug/bad injecctor.
