I have a 98 Honda Accord v6, that runs fine 99% of the time sometimes when I get gas or randomly it will not start..it turns over but sounds like it is getting no gas at all. Usually if I wait a few minutes it will start fine..sometimes it takes a shot of quick start...

You might want to replace the fuel filter and check your fuel pump. If the fuel filter gets dirty it will slow or stop the fuel from going to the injectors/carb....it can also cause the injectors/carb to become fouled or blocked. Be aware that buying gasoline from a service station when they are receiving a fuel delivery is a good way of getting a lot of unwanted sediment from their tanks into yours.

I HAVE A 99 HONDA ACCORD V6 WITH 250K MILES. WHILE DRIVING AT 70MPH I WILL LOOSE POWER WHILE THE ENGINE IS STILL RUNNING AND THEN A COUPLE OF SECONDS, POWER IS BACK. THE PROBLEM IS INTERMITENT, HAPPEN...

Hi, Sounds like the clutch plate or converter is starting to go.
At 250 K. It is time for a new one.(clutch and/or converter).
Another thing which I hope it isn't. Water in gas. If it is dump some alcohol in the tank, sold at many auto shops.
Good luck

98 Honda Accord LX wont start/crank. No noise is made when I try to turn it over. No clicking, revving, turning... No sound comes from the car aside from the interior sounds/lights which lets me know its...

Check the starter motor. Many times they go on there own with no sign, and having someone crank it while using something to tap it often helps it turn over.

Honda Accord check engine flashes when tapping brakes

Engine light flashing along with the drop on RPMs is indicative of misfires. Connect a scan tool and see if any codes are stored this may give you a starting point. As for the clicking I'm not sure that it is related to the engine light but clicking when braking may be due to worn suspension/steering parts such as control arm bushings

What mileage or duration should I change the transmission oil of my 1999 Honda accord (HONDA ACCORD 1999)

My Accord V6 '99 has over 215,000. You can use synthetic transmission oil if its zr1 compatible. I change mine every 60,000 or so. Its 3 qts for the v6. The nissan maximas are the ones that have transmissions that generally dont last past 120,000 miles. Why do you still see many 98 and 99 accords still on the road Carlos?
If yours went at 70,000 than you need to buy a haynes manual and keep up with the maintenance on your car. By the way. Honda Accords are notorious for running fine after 200,000 miles. The parts are easy access and if you use a cheap obd2 scanner you can zero in on any problem with the car.

98 Honda Accord V6: my car has a problem after running for an hour or so. If I turn it off and try and turn it back on it idles low (sputters) and sputters out, turns off. I can override this response...

Sounds like a throttle body or an EGR problem (both airflow related). There's actually a warranty fix involving your car from Honda. It basically cleans out the intake manifold and drills a larger EGR port.

Here's the link.

Car dies while driving, now it won't start sometimes

Could be a fuel pump that is going bad. Some times when fuel pumps go bad they cavitate and pump not just gas but also air. If you get too much air in the line and not enough gas the car won't start. Have a mechanic check your fuel line pressure.

Honda Accord 98 EX coupe - 3L V6 starting problem

I would take the vehicle to a different shop.
You can go to Autozone , They can scan the vehicle for free. There maybe a codes stored and auto zone can tell you what the code means. You can also check the price of ignition coils with them. The price the shop is asking is rediculous . I am guessing a coil should not be no more then 100.00 and labor time 1.5 hours with diagnosis time. I think you can get an estimate for repairs at Pep boy for a lot less. Good Luck .

My 98 honda v6, parked on incline now won't start

I think the incline is not the cause; it sounds very much like a battery down from some (possibly interior) light having been on during its downtime. I suggest a jump to see if it is only nothing more mysterious than a depleted battery.
