ensure the motor has a good electrical ground, check wiring for breaks and solid connections to and from switches, check power is getting to motor, check action of motor is in the correct direction for down.
On an older vehicle corrosion is a major problem. check to see if wiring/ contacts are intact and clean. This will invole taking the inside door panels off
i have fixed this problem on mine remove front drivers door panel trace your ground wire from window switch and make sure you have a good ground once you fix your ground you will fix your windows
GET SILACONE SPRAY AND WET FRONT AND REAR RUBBER TRACKS THE WINDOW RUNS IN LIBERALLY..IF IT THEN WORKS ...REPEAT EVERY 2 WEEKS..IF THIS DOESN'T HELP YOU PROBABLY NEED A NEW WINDOW MOTOR.
It is the blinker bulb more than likely. When one burns out it does this so you know to replace. Just open up the trunk and remove assembly from inside trunk remove bulb and replace. Should fix it.
