No idea what your question is, but if you are asking what the pad on the door is, it is a code pad to unlock the doors, open the trunk etc. I don't know if they still do it, but Lincoln use to put the base code on the trunk. Look around for a tag stuck to the trunk arm, or trunk lid. When you enter the code it unlocks the doors and if you push other #'s after the code it will open the trunk, turn on lights etc.

Hope this helps.

That would be the Keyless Entry System on the drivers door. Been there at least 30 years on a Ford Product. The factory code is on a White Plastic Card in your Owners Manual Folder. The trunk is accessible if you were inside by dropping the right rear seat back. Where is your spare key and key fob?

Changed batteries, remote still not working.

The remote keyless entry needs to be reset when the battery is changed, and the key pad must be reprogrammed if you need a new code.
    here ya go..

Sit in the driver's seat of your Ford 500.

Insert the key in the ignition and turn it from "Off" to "Run" eight times within 10 seconds. The final turn should have the key in the "Run" position. You will hear the door locks engage; this means it is in programming mode.

Press any button on the remote; the door locks will engage again to confirm the programming. This must be done within 20 seconds of entering the programming mode.

Press any button on the second remote; the door locks will engage again to confirm the programming. This must be done within 20 seconds of entering the programming mode.

Turn the key to the "Off" position to complete the programming. The door locks will engage again confirming that programming is complete.

    Keypad

Decide on a series of five digits to be your personal code. Your code needs to be an easily remembered series or numbers.

Locate the keypad on the driver's door; it will be directly above the driver's door handle.

Press the buttons that correspond with the factory remote keyless entry (RKE) code. This code can be obtained from the dealership if it has been lost.

Activate the programming mode by pressing the "1'2" button within 5 seconds of entering the RKE code.

Delete the old code by pressing and holding the "1'2" button for two seconds.

Enter the new five-digit code that you created in Step 1. This must be done within five seconds of deleting the old code. The door locks will cycle when the new code is confirmed.
    hope this helps you.

How do i turn off the brake warning light on range rover 2004

You can reset this fault code using the buttons on your dash - you don't need a dealer to do this. As you already know, you need to replace your pads and the brake wear sensor - this is a sacrifical item. Once this is done, do the following:-
Using the buttons on your dash - there are 2 - one on the LHS (Trip reset) and one on the RHS (In between Tacho and temp gauge)

*Press and hold Right button and turn ignition to first position (I or Accessory)Display should show "Check Control OK" then a short time later "Test Nr.01"*Press the Left button and you should see the car info in the display. Add the last FIVE digits of the car identity number together (NOT all 6!) to get a unique ID for your car.*Press the Right button repeatedly until you see "Test Nr.19"*Press and hold the Left button until you see the number matching the unique ID you calculated, then release.*Press the Right button to select this.*Press the Left button repeatedly until you see "Test Nr.21" - Reset All Defect Codes*Press Right button to reset the codes.Done!
