I cant find the instructions for the 1994 capri convertible top by E Z On Thanks Terry
to lower the top,
insert the trunk key into the key hole just to the left of the driver's seat and turn it 1/4 turn.
push in the red handle stabilizer and then pull down on the handle near where your head would be when driving
repeat for the passenger's side
lift up on the front most part of the convertible top and push slightly towards the rear.
holding that in place with one hand, pull back and then up on the backmost part of the convertible top leaving it inverted on top of the rest of the cover, or at least, up out of the way of the cover door.
once that part is up, you can let the front part go back forward
pull the cover door release lever near the keyhole mentioned in step one.. there are two latches one for the back seat to fold down, and one for the cover.
lift the cover door up and fold the back part of the convertible top back down to its original position
lift up again on the front most part of the convertible top and push it back, this time it should go back fairly easily and start to lower the back part of your top into the compartment. as you do this bit, it will be helpful to keep the rear window from buckling too much so as to avoid deformation.
when it is about 2/3 of the way in, you will want to push upward on second support bar from the back in the convertible top, if you dont, it will buckle up and not allow the top to fit in, and if you force it you will break your top.
once it is all in, you can shut the cover door and remove your key.
to put it up,
put the key in the aforementioned key-hole and turn it 1/4 turn as before.
pull the compartment latch and lift up on the compartment door.
pull the top all the way up so that the front of the top is resting on the windshield.
pull up the back part of the top so you can shut the compartment door
(seems obvious, but just for completeness sake) shut the compartment door
lift up on the front-most part of the top and push it slightly back to give your self slack to push the back part down and into place.
pay attention to both sides as you push the back of the convertible top into the groove on the top of the compartment door. (in it's shut position)
once it is in place, guide the plastic ridges on each side of the convertible top into the grooves on the sides of the compartment door.
from inside, pull the handles down so that the hooks on the bottoms are extended.
put each hook into its respective hole, and push the handle/lever into the closed position so that the red handle sabilizers snap into place.
the end.

No I have not noticed in Reddish fluid leaking in the car.
No I did not see any visible signs of reddish fluid. Thanks for considering this problem.

Found the line leaking about a foot from the pump.
The top has probably been causing a kink or wear when opened as the line is leaking behind the rear passenger seat in the area where the top lowers.
