If you have power there then the fuses are good or relays but if you have power then you ethier have a bad fan or ground wire also that fan should only come on when the ac is on
I have a 2003 Monte carlo 3.4 litre engine, Was having overheating issues, fans would not come on, but noticed 2 blown fuses, replaced now the driver side fan comes on when it should to cool car down, overheating issue fixed, but i am wandering about the passenger side fan, i have never noticed it come on. Does it only work while at highway speeds or driving?
And had the ac on too, but still the only fan that works is the drivers side, so i think the drivers side is doing both a.c. and cooling of engine. A.c blows kinda cold when idling, yet when driving a.c blows real cold.
My question is the passenger side fan, what is its purpose?
The passengers side fans purpose is to help keep your engine within the proper temperature range with the A/C is running which will make your engine run hotter than when it is not running. If everything is working properly you should see the fan running even at an idle but not necessarily all the time. You could have a thermostat stuck open not allowing your engine to reach proper operating temperature? Do you have the right thermostat in there? My GM thermostat is suppose to be 198 to 208 doublethink is to high so I replaced it with a 178 like the older Mgs used.
Like the older GMs used. I HATE these smart phones that write what it feels like.
