Car a/c heat blower stopped no warning

This is a BIG job, requiring removal of the dashboard, discharging the a/c system, and removing the heater/airconditioning unit from the car (a big box with the evaporator, heater core, blower fan, and various doors that direct airflow). If you want to DIY, there are several videos on YouTube for similar models - you can view those to get an idea of what is involved.

The AC will not work if the electric blower fan on the radiator does not come on. (It's under the shroud) ( Vehicle has engine fan and a electric fan hidden under the shroud..

Check the Blower Motor Resistor. This controls the Blower Motor/Fan Speed.

Is it turbo, do you have the check engine light on?

read i chiltons repair book if check light flashes it means your catylitic converter is going bad that could be the reason for miss fire.

Are they not at the end of your dash on drivers side with door open. That's where my 95 was, but perhaps it's been moved?

I have an 01 convertible lxi that just did the same thing..... You can go to an auto parts store or in my case, I went to Firestone and had them replace the blower resistor. My air now works on all settings.
