Borrow or buy a OBD 2 scanner and plug it into the Diagnostic Link Connector unfer the drivers side dash. Turn the key to the run position and write down the codes you get from the scanner. Then call Auto Zone or a local car parts store and give them the codes with your make and model. They will tell you what the codes mean and what you'll have to look at next to slove your problem.
