what this means is that you need to change your oil, it will blink then go away until the required mileage is up, then it will stay on,
change the oil, and have the person who does it clear it.
service engine light------scan for codes
brake light and antilock brake light ----abs problem scan for codes
change oil light ----- change oil and reset system light
You need to reset the oil lite with an oil change or add oil. As for the check engine lite being on you need to read the codes and see why it is on then the repair facility will reset the lite. They come on for a reason.
no reset for that!! check your oil pump pressure with a gauge and insure you have a working oil pump also check the oil filter to make sure the internal check valve isnt stuck! or the filter clogged or worn rod/main bearings
Your "Oil Life Monitor" needs to be reset.
Turn ignition on, engine OFF.
Fully depress and release the accelerator pedal slowly 3 times within 5 seconds.
If CHANGE OIL indicator flashes, the system is resetting.
After indicator stops flashing, turn key off, then start vehicle. If light stays off, you are done. If it comes back on, repeat the entire procedure.
**Note** Oil life monitor should be reset, whenever you change your oil and filter.
Sometimes disconnecting the battery for a few minutes will reset the check engine light. Make sure you have the correct radio code before doing this or your radio will not work after disconnecting the battery.
