Is the transmission in a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo 4x4 V6 automatic interchangeable with a similar 1996 Isuzu Rodeo? Would there be electrical/computer issues, etc?
Man, I went through the same ordeal! My 94 Rodeo tranny went out, and the wrecking yard guy assured me that the 96 would interchange, but 10 hours later, I gave up on it!
No they are not compatible. They changed the crank between 95 and 96. I have a 96 that needed an engine swap and the dealer that I bought it from was paying for the engine, he bought a 95 engine and after a month of trying the mechanic said no way no how, the crank between the two is different.

Thanks Azamej for responding, but the list of websites is no help. It doesn't even contain a link to Isuzu products. I looked at the Chevy and Honda (both companies having a large part in the make history of the Rodeo) but those links are somewhat questionable as far as useful information, and seem more directed at a advertise/infomercial type viewing. Your links are also trying to redirect to different places when selected more than once which usually indicates phishing and less than forthright intentions.
Still wondering if a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo can be installed into a 1996 model.
