no that is cause dby oil and coolant mixing together

well ill try im assuming it shuts off you can try the catalatic convertor and maybee the fuel pressure make sure there is enough pressure to run it at factory specs and if the cat. is clogged that will limit your power and im assuming that you have no excelleration even in lower gears correct

Repair Manuals for the Lancer is like Hen`s teeth, however in your case look for the obvious replace the fuel filter, check the air filter also, start with the simple problems first

So you're getting voltage to positive side of coils, but no spark at plugs? If you were to take the coil plug wire and hold it about 1/4 inch from engine ground do you get spark? (Use well insulated handles, don't touch metal) If yes, maybe plug wires, if no, does it have a control module? I'm not familiar with Mitsubishi, I've worked mostly on American cars.

go to a junk yard or see if their is an after market lens cause the dealer is so expensive i seen several at the junk yard i went to toaday in utah

Sounds like you need to check for loose belts and or pulleys. and or maybe the A/C compressor mounting bolts are loose. in all extreme measures the cycling clutch could be going bad, and motor mounts still can solve problem
