Go to an A/C repair shop and tell them that your "clutches" aren't acting right...then explain the fan issue...cheap $40-60

SOURCE: The fan blower stays on after I have turned off the AC & heater.

You will need to replace the Final stage resistor. You can find the part at your dealer, or get it at other parts stores. This is a common issue.

SOURCE: AC fan blower turned off for two days, now ok

Hello. Relays do not fail intermittently. You most likely have a lose connection from the fusebox TO the switch, or the switch itself is failing. I hope this helps. Good luck. Thank you for trusting FixYa to help get you going.

The AC cooling fan should come on when the AC is turned on. This is not happening. The vehicle is a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country 3.8 liter van.Any ideas? Relay appears to be fine.

In some vehicles, just because you turn on the A/C..the fan does not come on...and some, when you set the A/C to on, you have to make the fan blow to make the A/C compressor work.. Sounds like, maybe, the blower motor resistor may be bad.. they are easy to change and not too expensive..You should be able to buy one at ( some will install it for you - if you are real sweet) :

What can cause continual ding sound when AC is turned on in 2002 LW300?

Something has fell into blower fan cage. On the passenger's side under the dash, with your hand on the blower motor you will find a tab that is spring loaded, press it and turn, the unit will drop out. Reinstall: put it back in and turn until you hear a click or until it stays in place.

A/c compressor works fine and the blower motor works and shutdown right? it is the problem with the blower resistor or with blower motor relay. try to direct the resistor irrespective of the speed. hope the problem may be solved.

Due to the age of your vehicle, the brushes in the fan motor are worn out. you will have to replace the fan motor, it is not serviceable.

Heater stays on when vehicle is turned off. Stays on when I remove the fuse also. Drained my battery while I was at work.

PULLING THE BLOWER MOTOR FUSE SHOULD MAKE THE BLOWER STOP. HOWEVER, THERE IS ALSO AN AC/HEATER FUSE THAT CAN KEEP THE MOTOR RUNNING. { IN FUSEBOX ON LOWER LEFT SIDE OF DASH }

When I turn my car off the air conditioner still runs-I needed a jump the other day because it ran all night and wore the battery down.

OK, if the relay for the A/C fan is bad, then the radiator's fan will keep running after turning off the ignition. Also, if the fan for ventilation of the A/C in the cabin stays on after the ignition is turned off, the relay for that is bad.

Good luck on this repair.

The fan for the heater/vent/AC is stuck on high and remains running when the vehicle is shut off. I am able to switch from vent to heater to AC to defrost, but the fan always stays on high. This is a 95...

Does this have auto temp control where you set the temp number or does it have a knob you set 1-5. I'll bet you have auto temp. and you need to replace the blower control module under the hood.

Ac/heater blower fan does not work

Several possible causes (blown fuse, malfunction in blower speed switch, open ground in blower motor electical circuit, burned out blower motor (brushes), open circuit in blower resistor, etc. Best solution, Take the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Center (dealership), pay the diagnostic fee. They will tell you EXACTLY what the problem is and what's needed to fix it (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.)
