Does a 2009 hyandai sonata have transmission filter

Question edited for clarity add maker and 'year make model engine' in the correct order.

Apparently it does.

How do I know if my transmission filter needs to be changed?
Grinding noises, transmission leaks, burning smells, noisy idling, and shifting delays are all common symptoms of a clogged filter. If you notice any of these, take your car to a transmission auto repair shop.

you should find it near the front off engine @ crank pulley/oil pump area or near the oil filter housing

Transmission services are part of routine maintenence. Flushing the system on a high mileage vehicle where the fluid has been neglected can cause issues as it stirs up and removes deposits of varnish and worn band/clutch debris through out the system. Most vehicles are usually drain and fill. Others are pan removal with filter and fluid change. Not many companies still do "flushes" but will recommend one of the above services be performed during routine maintenence

Have your spark plugs and fuel and air filters checked, replace if necessary.

look inside owners manual.it will tell you type oil to use or go to auto parts store the sales person can look up type transmission fluid your vechicle use.

Not unless you are having problems now .you have a owners manual ,look in there and see when the manufacturer says that these fluids need to be changed ,You can look at the air filter and see if it needs to be changed .The transmission fluid should be good to go until around 60,000 miles or so .you need to check the level of the fluid on the dip stick ,just to make sure it is no leaking .
