When you consider that dealerships charge $90.00 plus an hour for labor and suggested retail for the filter is probably close to $20.00 and oil is around $3.00 a quart, even at Walmart, then the price doesn't seem out of line. Expensive cars require expensive maintenance. Wait until you need a brake job or one of those silly electronic gimmicks acts up, then you really will be complaining about maintenance costs. In the meantime find yourself a Jiffy Lube.

I took my 1996 BMW Z3 4cyl to Jiffy lube for an oil change.. I requested Pennzoil Ultra Syn oil.. They used 5W20 oil? I called them to ask why, and they said it was all they had, but according to their...

I agree with the previous expert.

Get the oil changed. Use what the manufacturer recommends. Your engine is designed for a specific viscosity, and you need to adhere to the manufacturer's specifications. Nowadays, oil does much more than 'lubricate the engine'. The oil moves the variable valve timing, and a host of other tasks.

Viscosity is important.

Too thin, too much volume. Too heavy, to little volume.

...Will it be OK? I would think so, but, you really need to get the right oil in it, Make Jiffy Lube change it for free. They screwed up. Not you.

Hi, my dad bought a BMW Z3 2002 and we can not access the code number for the radio. He bought the car in NYC and lives in Montreal, QC, Canada. We called the dealership, they gave us a code, but it does...

Greetings from Maryland. I have had issue with codes before myself, and it appears that ONLY dealers can provide proper coding, usually for free. Once they unlock and engage the radio for you they will give you a copy of the code for your use later. The odds are the NYC dealer provided a bad digit.

BMW Z3 WRONG UNLOCK RADIO CODE HOW TO GET THE RIGHT ONE

If the radio is displaying code wait, or wait, then the ignition and radio must remain on for 1hour. I would contact a dealer within the USA and provide them with your radio serial number. The serial number can be displayed in the radio by pressing and holding down the "M" button while turning on the ignition.

BMW Z3 WRONG UNLOCK RADIO CODE HOW TO GET THE RIGHT ONE

Yes. If it was bought in the US, it was coded for the US, so have a US dealer provide the code.
