2004 Land Rover discovery hse. I was driving stopped at red light car shut off started it back but when i put it in drive it shut off again and it won't start back at all now just one click is all i get battery and starter both tested good

I just expiriance the same problems on my rover so i check it out and found that the engine spark fuse was out. I replaced the said fuse and their you go it started. You can find that fuse under the dashboard in the satellite 1 fuse box. it should be the 3rd one from the right. Good luck buddy hope that helps you out.

Starter solenoid? If you replaced the starter but not the solenoid, the solenoid could working the the contacts inside are corroded/burnt and will not put power to the starter. Either that or the starter has a dead spot in it. Just because the part is new/rebuilt doesn't mean its perfect. Please rate my answer so I am awarded points for it.
