See that long oblong piece on the dash, Kind of looks like a soap dish about 12 inches long by maybe 5 or 6 inches wide. It comes off. Their are relays under it.

2001 Silverado 1500...AC Blower Motor not coming on at any speed. Checked all fuses, all good. Motor tested good, so I replaced resistor and harness, did not help any. Whats next? SOLVED !

What's next? Auto repair shop. lol You check all the fuses ? How looking at them ? Did you check for battery voltage across the fuses using a voltmeter ? Did you look at a wiring diagram to see what all is involve in making the blower motor work. Just replacing parts is not how to fix the problem.

Follow the wires from the blower motor back to the blower motor resistor, normally only a few inches away and held in by a 7 mm screw. Replace it

The AC fan in my car (volvo s40-99) does not work

If you are talking about the blower motor fan, inside the car, look for a blown fuse,or a bad fan relay. The blower motor relay could be mounted near the blower motor,or in the relay box, look for the lables to guide you to it.If the relay, and the fan are fine, then replace the blower motor.

1994 Buick LeSabre

It will be near the blower motor.I would check for the blower motor relay to be stuck, replace it ,and that should solve your problem.

AC problem

We are going through the same problem, our ac stopped working about 3 yrs ago, we have had it checked out 3 times by different mechanics and they all scratch their head with no idea of the problem. We have no blower but you can feel a little heat and air coming out. We have been reading the boards and it appears this is a pretty common problem in these cars, along with a few other things I won't go into, we have heard the blower motor thermal resistor, we just replaced it, $20 at ford, did not fix the problem. Next we will try to replace the ac heater blower switch which involves removing the radio. This part is $66 at Ford but there also seems to be a blower motor switch that maybe different and cheaper, still checking out this. Let us know if you find an answer.

Rear AC

Hi,
Your local auto parts store should have or be able to get the HAYNES Manual for the Expedition. I just bought one at Advanced Auto Parts to deal with a different A/C problem with my 2000 Expedition and it has great wiring diagrams & troubleshooting for the A/C among other problems.

The 2000 Expedition actually has "3" blowers. One front, one in the middle under the center console and one aft on the drivers side of the far rear panel. Sounds like it could be the center blower that's causing your problem. I think that blower is on Fuse 7. (Sorry - My Hayes manual is outside in the truck!)

Good luck! I hope it helps!
