If you have a vacuum line that was going to the heater control valve and you bypass it can you plug the vacuum line or do you have to put it on a T and connect it to another vacuum source

The car shakes when idle and upon acceleration and deceleration.

it may be the maf / mass, air flow sensor it is located on the air intake duct at the air filter housing you can get a manual and check the volts at the (MAF)sensor to see if its good and the TSP can cause this to and you can test it the same way with a voltmeter i think the tps is 5.0 volts.. at idle the (MAF) should be between 1.3 and 1.7 when motor is revved to 4,000 rpm the voltage should be increased to 4.0 and when stopped it should be less then 1.0 volts .so test the sensors before you buy any parts cause most auto stores want let you return ELE. items

My 1996 sentra blowin smoke upon take off then goes away ,,runs quietly ..any thoughts...

This is caused leaking engine valve stem seals, oil gets into the cylinders during deceleration to a stop, and then quickly burns off when you accelerate away. If it not using allot of oil just live with it, it is very expensive to repair.

the temp senser is probably shot but easy to replace. i would start there its location is usually the radiator cap and some times on the side of your engine block. as far as fluctuation in temp upon rpms is unfixable, that is just something i call character.

My 2003 Jeep Liberty heater is blowing cold air when idling. Warms up when you hit the accelerator. I also hear a water rolling sound upon take off after idling. Water pump? Heater Core?

Water level perhaps. When you hit the accelerator the water volume increases. Check your water level and make sure that your thermostat is opening and closing properly. Water level I'm thinking

most likely cause is a faulty mass air flow sensor. this should be scanned for codes and noted. upon which you may find that air intake is beyond perimeters and that the ehxuast is indicating a rich condition. let me know which you find and we can attack from there. cheers

Acceleration no air, foot off gas air barely blows out vents

The vent is controlled by vacuum. Check the condition of the vacuum hose associated with the vent control. What is happening is when you decelerate, the intake manifold vacuum increases, and a diaphram is slightly pulled giving you air in the vent but very little. In normal condition the diaphram wont even pull. Solution is check for a vacuum leak in the vent control trace it coming from the intake manifold.

Ac blows warm air onb acceleration

Sounds like throttle A/C cutoff. Check at what point A/C stops. Full throttle, 3/4, half, etc,... You can disable the throttle A/C cutoff. This is designed for increased performance. Check manual for your cars setup.

AC blowing heat and air at same time

Yeah Ron, the flap that covers the heater core is open and when you're moving the air is pushed over the heater core and into the cab your in. Possibly just a vacuum line of that controls said flap. Check all vacuum lines for good proper connection to these flaps because all of them are vacuum actuated.
