AC condensation leaking into passenger side floor area on 95 Jeep

Air conditioner is condensating and leaking in passenger side of vehicle. I have had a local Jeep repair shop blow out the line 2 or 3 times but I am still getting condensation and leakage. Is there something that can be added to clean from inside out (do it myself with a hanger, etc.)? Or is the only option pulling the dash? Dealer wants to charge 8 hours of labor just to see what the problem is which is more than likely debris blocking the drain ($500 or $600 to unclog drain??). Thank you

Here is what i find in the condensation drains of the AC systme, leaf matter is the numero uno, if the blower wasn't pulled and the leaf debris cleaned out then the problem will continue until it is cleaned. there is nothing to add, water is a by product of the air cooling process, the colder the air the less water it can hold suspended, so when you cool it it condenses out, that is why all ac systems have a water drain.

I had the same problem on 97-GC, The condensation drain has a foam gasket where it goes thru the firewall, this gasket is bad. The gasket fits between the HVAC housing and the firewall, you will need to pull the dash, you dont have to completely remove the HVAC housing just unbolt it and lift it up enought to get to the gasket. Its located at the very bottom of the housing you can see it when you pull the carpet back. I fixed mine on a saturday, pulling dash is a pain. Find a indenpendant repair shop preferable one that specializes in AC. wont take 8hr's, did mine in four.

When i turn on my air conditioner water leaks out from under the dashboard and my floors are soaked..

There is a drain on the bottom of the firewall on the passenger side most likely, check that drain and make sure it is clear. What you are seeing is the condensation from the AC coil when the AC is working.

Air conditioner condensation dripping into the floor.

Check the drain hose, chances are it came loose from the fitting on the AC unit. Make sure the hose goes through the floor board.

2000 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 liter: Air conditioner drips condensate on passenger side floor. Is there a drain somewhere that could be plugged?

There is a drain tube on the lower part of the firewall that is probably plugged.Normally I use a pick to dislodge debris some use coat hangers but you must be careful not to poke at too hard and cause a freon leak in the evaporator core.

Air conditioning leaking on passenger floor board

There is a drain hose that releases the condensation to the ground. It is probably plugged and the condensation is overflowing on the floor. Look under the vehicle same area as the leak is on the floor and find an open end of a hose. Blow air up thru it or run a long wire up to unplug it. Good luck Darrell S

Its leaking under the dash on the passenger side when the ac is on, it feels like condensation from something under the dash but its alot and is soaking the floor of the front passenger floor

The water is probably coming from the air conditioner. Check the air-conditioning box or ductwork that surrounds the evaporator. There should be a drain hole in the bottom for the water to escape to the outside of the car. The drain hole may be plugged or the ductwork cracked or broken.

Also, this video can help as a reference guide...

Hope this help.

Rain is leaking into the passenger side floor from under the dash

there may be some body rust around the window seal or in the air intake area, depending on your climate, condensation can sometimes drip of the AC system onto your feet

Water in floor on passenger side

The issue is condensation from your air conditioner not properly draining. This is usually caused by a damaged, or clogged drain hose. The condensation is supposed to drain outside the vehicle by way of a hose on the firewall area.

Water on floor

There are 2 places it could be coming from, most likely is a leaking or bad "heater core". If it's not a heater core, it would be "condensation" from your air conditioning system. Check your coolant first. If it's low, your heater core is leaking the coolant inside the vehicle. If you don't repair this problem it can lead to severe engine damage. If it's not the heater core, the condensation buildup from your air conditioner is not properly draining outside the vehicle. Could be as simple as a clogged, or damaged drain hose.

Water leaks on passenger floor when air is on

AC drain hose stopped up somewhere, probably under the vehicle. Sorry I don't know where it comes out of the firewall or fender.
