I had to get an oil leak fixed in my 1998 Volvo S70, during which they pulled out the transmission, thus resetting my radio. I have now called two dealers, as well as customer service, and tried about 4 different codes (which I got based on VIN number, as well as radio serial number), none of which worked. One Volvo employee said if the code didn't work, my radio was broken, and had to be fixed or replaced. Please help!
If the dealer performed the work I would be VERY persistant in them getting your radio fixed. Talk to the Service Director.
