Won,t start car turns over but won't start.replaced computer,crankshaft sensor,ignition module,fuel pump fuel filter.car will run briefly if dump gas down intake.

Check for spark to the spark plugs, while cranking the engine. If no spark, you could have a bad ignition module, or a bad crankshaft position sensor. The crank sensor sends a signal to the computer, to start the fuel pump and signals the ignition module to start firing the spark plugs. It also drives the tachometer through the computer (PCM) Powertrain control module. The ignition module can be removed and taken to a parts store to have it tested. The crank position sensor is not as easy to test. Easier to just replace it. Good Luck. But wait, I have seen people replace the fuel pump, checked the fuel pump harness for power, and all was good. However, if the fuel pump does not have a GROUND, it will still not operate. Might want to check that. Have fun.

A bad Crankshaft Positioning sensor will cause the car computer ECM to turn off the spark and the gas to the engine so that it will not start running.

A bad Ignition Control Module will not allow the Spark Plugs to fire correctly.

Bad or no gas, use Chevron with Techron it really works to remove harmful deposits on Valves.

Worn out Spark plugs need replacement.

Faulty fuel pump or fuse.

Faulty Fuel injectors, GM band Fuel Injectors are the worst.

let vechicle sit for a while could be flooded fuel injectors leaking.when fuel injectors become dirty clogged they will leak when you turn off the engine.see if engine restart if its sits while.if car still dont crank check for spark.no spark could be faulty ignition module or crankshaft position sensor and camshaft sensor.have vechicle code scan first before buying new parts.meant to say bad engine coolant temperature sensor will cause no start hot engine and clogged air filter.

fuel filter,tune up,

Try start the car again when it is completely dry, if it starts the rain may be short circuiting something on the loom in the engine bay.

If it still wont start,

will it turn over? (car tries to start)
- If it wont turn over the battery would be dead

- If it turns over but wont burst into life then we can go from there ^_^

I would check for a short somewhere in the wire harness or check the bell for true on crank balancer make sure its not rubbing pickup

crank pos. sensor or maf sensor ck. the fuel press reg. also

If the engine fires up for a second or two with starting fluid then the fuel pump is weak.I would check the fuel pressure and if its not within the specs then replace the pump and filter.

WHEN TROUBLE SHOOT CAR CHECK FOR SPARK AT PLUGS FIRST IF NO.CHECK IGNITION FUSE TO IGNITION COIL OR COILS AND IGNITION MODULE.IF FUSE GOOD CAR NEED SCANNING FOR CRANKSHAFT SENSOR FAULT OR IGNITION MODULE FAULT.IF IGNITION SYSTEM OKAY CHANGE FUEL FILTER IF NOT BEEN CHANGED LONG TIME..CHECK TO SEE IF YOU HEAR FUEL PUMP RUN IN FUEL TANK WHEN YOU TURN IGNITION KEY ON FOR 3 SECONDS.THE FUEL PUMP WILL TURN ON 3 SECONDS THEN TURN OFF.IF YOU HEAR NO FUEL PUMP.CHECK FUSE AND RELAY.IF BOTH GOOD.STILL HAVE CAR CODE SCANNED FIRST.
