Car stalling on hot days!

Alright, recently my crv has been stalling, but only on hot days. For the most part it has always started back up and would continue to run for the remainder of the trip. Yesterday it was around 85 with 80% humidity and I couldn't drive more than 2 minutes without it stalling. Not sure whatts wrong with it but after it stalls it will turn over but shut off right away. Any help would be awesome

Yes it does, all the gages actually go all the way down as if the car hadn't been on at all.

This is your ignition switch failing. Typical symtoms when stalling, speedometer and tach dropping to zero, some warning lights not lit, power failure. The internal contacts are shorting due to poor design and engineering. This causes vital engine/vehicle electrical failure, causing the stalling(happens more often in hotter/humid weather). There is a recall in place for this in 2002, over 1.5Million vehicles from 97-02 Honda/Acura models affected. Owners were notified in 2002!! If your vehicle is part of this recall, honda may repair for free. Call your local honda dealer with your VIN# at hand, they will give info on this recall and may repair for free. Otherwise the switch cost about $45-$95. hopefully this helps...please rate...thanks

1998 Honda CRV stalls once it warms up then after

You need to replace your coil pack. It sounds to be over heating which results in no spark being sent and the enige dies. Very common fault and easily fixed.

1997 Honda Crv. Vehicle stalls without warning and will not start for about 10 minutes. Then drives ok for 20-30 miles and then stalls without warning.

what you have is a bad ignition module, when it get hot it stops working, soon it will not start any more, replace it sit in distributor.

Engine stalling out when hot

I would have the control module checked. It is mounted to the back of the distributor. You can take it by any autozone to be tested. This component heats up and then starts to break down inside,, when it cools back off then you are able to start back up until it goes completely out.
