2007 Toyota Camry LE - broken sun visor

My sun visor from the driver's side broke off and I've tried calling used parts distributors but every single 2007 Camry LE they have has had the driver's side sun visor sold out of it already! Is it possible that it's a defect? Obviously other people are having the same problem and this car is way too new to fall apart. I take care of it. ??

I also have a broken sunvisor. I opened the stitching closes to the swing arm and found the plastic to be cracked. I would call this a defect. They should do a recall.

Most likely a defect. call the dealer and see if toyota has issued a recall on the visor and you might have it replaced for free. other than that, there's always the junkyard.

Ask the dealer if there is a tsb on this problem. or try e-bay or the internet for a used part

2007 camry sun visor broke. Is any recall for that?

I have a 2007 camry and my driver side visor keeps coming down in my face while driving. I contacted Toyota and they told me that there was no recall. I said that is a very bad safety hazard. Toyota told me that to have it fixed it will cost me $130.00. I work in a automotive parts factory and when we get calls on bad parts that we have manufactuer we replace them. And the parts are for Toyota but the are not the visors. COME ON TOYOTA YOU CAN RECALL THESE BROKEN VISORS!!!!!

Sun visor on 2008 Camry broke - on both sides

To be honest, Save your 90.00 and pop it in your self. Sun visors are very easy to change and will take you all of 5 minutes. Most visors are held in place by 2-3 little screws that you will see at the base of the visor and looks like they are screwed into your roof. just take the screws out and the visor will pop right out for you. then just do the opposite to install it. It really is that easy.

Good Luck and I hope this helps.

Sun visor on driver's side won't stay up or all the way down. 2006 Sonata I have the same problem with my 2007 Sonata driver side sun visor broke and will not stay up but keeps droping down in my view....

I have a 2007 Sonata and the driver's side sun visor broke. I called the dealership where I purchased the car, and was told that they only cover it for 5 years/60,000 miles. So if your's is broken, get it in there before the warranty expires. Otherwise the cost is around $80 for the visor unit.
