Question about 2000 Kia Sportage

My 2000 Kia Sportage a/c and power windows stopped working. the fuses seem to be OK and the mater window switched worked when I jumpered it out to get the windows back up. What could it be????

    I solved the problem myself. I looked up troubleshooting for the a/c in order to locate the relay. The relay is powered through the rear wiper fuse, not the a/c fuse. Replacing the blown rear wiper fuse solved both problems because obviously the power window relay and the a/c relay are the same relay.

As far as the windows it could be the window regulators or the motor in the window switch

No, should not affect the power windows. Something else made them stop working. If no windows work at all, could be a fuse for them is bad. If fuse is good (some vehicles use a circuit breaker rather than a fuse), then you need to start testing at the master power window switch, which is the window switch on the driver's door.

I have a kia sportage 2000 all my elelctric windows have stopped working. i tested the fuse in the engine and drivers side they are fine but all the other fuse holders have power except the power window...
Look for a broken wire in the driver door jamb harness.

Check the ground connections. My 2001 Sportage had same problem during the dry summer started working when it rained found a loose ground that only made contact when wet.

Rear window not working
You have to pull off the inner panel on that door. Check for power at the window switch there, with key on. If no power, probably a broken wire between the driver's master switch and that door window switch. If you do have a hot wire there at the switch, check the motor and the wiring from the switch to the motor-maybe one pulled loose. You can test the motor with jumper wires from a battery source and ground.

My windows will not go up ....can it be a fuse?
do any of the windows work? do they all go down but not up? if yes to either question then it is not a fuse but rather a loss of power or ground through the window control switch.

Had same problem if not fuse it must be the switch. or whire came loose on switch. if that do not work try to test the motor.

Power windows and power door locks won't work. Can't find any fuse or relay that's blown/bad. Was fine one day, stopped working the next
sounds like a bad conection also check under hood for accessory fuse pannel
