I have a problem with my fiat uno it has petrol but it keeps cutting out now it will not start and there is no petrol in the filter

Then this week my uno cut out again.So I changed the petrol filter first,spark plugs,the spark plug wires are new ones.Checked battery ok.Spoke to a man that had same problem.On his uno it first was the electronic module that sits on the distrubuter.And later on when he had same problem it was the ditrubuter itself.When we looked at my uno's electronic module we saw that there was a small screw missing.It earths a small plate that is connected to the electronic module.I now have inserted a screw with the same thread and a few washers.I will give update when problem completely solved.
