I relized my radiator fluid would become low every other week. it started foming pink substance out the raditor and found out my radiator was full of it. I replaced the radiator and new temp. with dual electric fans. it ran well for a week untill it started overheating again. The pink substance is showing up in the radiator again and have no clue what it is. Any advice would be great thanks.

96 toyota tacoma 2.4 liter, hard to start when cold

This problem basically arises due to a weak battery or faulty rectifiers in the alternator of starter. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do except to visit a electrical mechanic who will sort out this problem in a matter of hours !

I have a 96 corolla with AT that will not shift out of first when driving. i changed the fluid and filter without any improvement. any sugestions ? or should i start looking for a new car.

I would look for a bad shift solenoid. This item will be inside the transmission pan and on the outside of the valve body. There should be three of them.

My 1996 Toyota Tacoma AC Compressor Clutch is frozen up. Can just the clutch be repaired? I have 200,000 miles on this truck and do not want to spend a lot of money for a new AC compresor kit. There has...

Give a dealer a call ask for the service department,Ask if the have a repair kit, also call your local parts stores ask them for parts and what special tools are required. Most of them are honest and will be happy to help.("Don't try to unhook any AC lines you could blind yourself if the freon gets into your eyes. if you have to pull the compressor.take it to a repair shop have them drain it for you first"). Hope this helps, Good luck

How do you fix the low beams when the high beams work on a 96 Toyota Tacoma? Checked Bulbs, fuses all are good.

sounds like it may be the lever itself on the wheel for turnsignals etc. otherwise use a test light to determine where power begins and ends at the switch by removing it a good ground and start testing by switching from hi beam to low beam this will let you know if i am correct with my determination

96 Toyota Tacoma lacks take off power and stumbles

Any trouble light? Sounds like it might be misfiring during acceleration which is more related to ignition quality than timing. Check the spark plugs--if badly worn, replace them. Might need new spark plug wiring. Check the air cleaner. Replace the O2 sensor if the truck has a lot of miles. Look for loose or cracked vacuum hoses.

96 toyota tacoma turn signals not working when headlights are on. any ideas?

I had the same problem with my car for a while, it could possibly be that your alternator is going out, or your battery connection is bad. those would bethe first things I would check
