SOURCE: Hyundai Veracruz GLS 2008 Tire Pressure problem

Keep taking it back to the dealer until the fix it or give you a new car. Not that it's an immediate safety issue, it's just something that's supposed to be functioning properly. They have to address it because cars are legally required to have TPMS systems for safety. If a safety mehanism fails in your car, you can claim it is a safety issue. If you keep having problems with the TPMS light, you'll eventually ignore it. Then one day you'll have a tire going flat and you wouldn't know it.

SOURCE: switch off tire pressure warning light

From the manual: First find the reset button, located below the handbrake (emergency brake) lever. The button has an "exclamation mark in a tyre" symbol.

Make sure the pressures in all tyres are what you want them to be. 35psi all 'round is good for sporty driving.

Engine off. Turn ignition to the second position (ON) but don't start the engine.

Keep the re-set button pressed until the flat tyre indicator light on the dashboard COMES ON for several seconds.

Start the engine, and drive the car normally for several minutes. This will re-set the indicator to whatever pressures you have in the tyres. Hope this helps!!

SOURCE: how do i reset the tire pressure warning on a 2008 kia spectra

Your tire pressure is monitored by a device known as a TPMS sensor.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System is an integral part of your tire that tends to wear with age.

You need to take your vehicle to a reliable shop (I recommend Discount Tire) to have the TPMS sensor in the defective tire replaced. It's simple, and inexpensive.

I have used Discount Tire's services for almost 20 years, and have never been disappointed with their service.

SOURCE: Tire pressure light is on

You cannot reset them,Make sure that you check the pressures in the tires. The Infiniti Tire Pressure Monitoring System is designed to trip the warning light anytime the pressure in any of the tires drops below 29 psi. At 29 psi it really won't look like the tires are low. You could have one tire at 29 or 28 causing the light to stay on all the time. Check your pressures, set at 34 or 35 to be safe, or whatever pressure the tire is recommended to be. Not all infiniti vehicles with TPMS have the display that shows the pressure in each tire. If the pressures are above 29 psi, Then there could be an issue with one or more of the sensors. If you have the tires replaced you will have to have the sensors relearned at the dealer. Tire rotations do not require the same.

2009 Toyota rav4 looking for tire pressure reset button. Isn't located at any of the listed areas. Under dash, glove box, under steering wheel, above brake, etc. Owners manual doesn't show where it is

Toyotas do not have a tire pressure reset button. If you have the correct pressure in your tires and the light is still on, one or more of your TPMs is most likely malfunctioning

Tire pressure monitor light went on on my 2008 saturn vue can i still drive for 1 more day

With colder weather, tire pressures will decrease a little. Check the pressures on all your tires. If they are within two or three psi of the recommended pressure, you should be able to drive for another day before airing them back up. But if one (or more) tire is five psi or more below recommended pressure, it probably has a slow leak and should be aired up, preferably repaired, as soon as possible.

Tire pressure warning light stays after I have checked the pressure in all tires and they are within specs. The manual tells me to push the reset button to turn it off. Where is the reset button locate...

I had the same issue. The spare tire also has a sensor, so make sure you check the tire pressure of that tire as well.
The reset button is below the traction in line with your right knee. I used my cellphone camera and and that is how i found it.

I have a warning light on that I don't know what it's for. (!)

If it is the exclamation point, and it is colored red, this indicates either the handbrake (e-brake) or more importantly the brake fluid level is low.........i would be checking this ASAP !!

My child away at college, has a Rav4, 2008 with a warning light on that looks like "tire tread?" Just had the oil changed 2 weeks ago, so shouldn't have anything to do with that. Sound familiar?...

That symbol (tire tread) could mean a low tire pressure. The majority of vehicles today have the low tire pressure warning system, which indicates that one or more of the tires are below the minimum tire pressure. Have the tire pressure checked in each tire. As for turning the warning light off, some vehicles the light will go out after tires are inflated properly. Have them check the owner's manual for resetting warning light. Please inform me as to whether or not it was the tires...thanks.

The words tire reset keep on popping up on my dashboard. What does that mean, and how do I get rid of it? 2004 Ford Freestar.

With and without "Mesage Center" respectively (pretty sure)

With the engine on...

Push "Setup" button, until your driver display says something like "Press Reset for system check".

Then push Reset. The system check will start, rotating through a series of checks.

About the fifth or sixth check will be the tire pressure. The system will sound the tone (same one that starts w/the light) and It'll say something like "Check Tires Pressure" on that moment press and hold for 3 or 4 seconds Reset. When you release the Reset button It'll show "Hold Reset if tires are OK". While that's up, hold the Reset button. After 3 or 4 seconds, the tire warning light will blink 2 or 3 times and then will stop .You need to be ready for it, because you don't get very long to release.

How to reset the low tire pressure warning if the vehicle does not have the "Message Center"

Turn the ignition to the ON position,
depress and Trip/odometer button (located in the instrument cluster) until "TIRE RESET" or "CHECK TIRE AND RESET" is displayed in the odometer display window.
Once "TIRE RESET" or "CHECK TIRE AND RESET" is displayed, press and hold the button for three seconds.
The low tire warning indicator light will flash three times as the low tire warning system begins to initialize.

This information is in the Owners Manual

Hope it helps

Tire pressure light comes on

You shouldn't be setting the tire pressure to the max inflation pressure listed on the sidewall, that will likely result in uneven tire wear with the center of the tire wearing out prematurely. You should set the pressures according to the listings in the door jam. Most likely 32-34psi. Also, have you checked the spare tire? Some systems monitor and will illuminate the TPMS light if the spare tire pressure isn't within an acceptable range. The spare is often overlooked when checking tire pressures because of a TPMS indicator.
