It is pretty straight forward remove the old bags take note of anything removed and how it sets. line up the clock spring install the new air bags and then the ECU. If you install the ecu without the bags and turn the ignition on you will set the SRS light off again and need to get it reset so avoid doing so.
If you're talking about the airbag, (seat belt deployed makes no sense,) you have to have the dealership replace the airbag and charge before it will pass inspection...
I really don't have any greatly detailed step by step procedures here. In the pictures below is you can figue out how to remove the different items (cover plate, cental console...) do it in order by number stated below the picture. Also in the laxt picture, there is a picture of the SRS-ECU (electronic control unit for the airbags). Be VERY VERY careful not to jar it or bump it.....be careful on other words. Make sure you disconnect the negative battery terminal before you start but there is still stored energy in the vehicle and on your vehicle I have seen a couple of times when the SRS-ECU was bumped the air bags deploying by accident. I have some factory Mitsubishi service manuals on PDF at my shop and if I remember (I'll try), will look to see if there is anything about removing the center console & will post if there is anything. The other stuff is pretty easy if you are mechanically inclinde. Hope this helps a little anyway....
SRS IS SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM. THIS IS YOUR AIRBAG SYSTEM.WHEN YOU SEE SRS LIGHT FLASHING TAKE VECHICLE TO DEALERSHIP SEE WHAT CAUSING PROBLEM DONT TRY FIX AIRBAGS SYSTEM YOUR SELF LET DEALERSHIP FIX AIRBAGS DANGEROUS THEY CAN DEPLOY WHILE TRYING TO FIX SO LET PROFESSIONAL TECHNICIAN FIX.
If the airbag has been deployed, is is necessary to REPLACE the airbag (SRS) ECU. It is located below the center console. (See picture) It must be replaced because on your vehicle, it contains the crash sensors. If you do not replace it and hook-up new airbags and turn the key on, the new airbags will immediately deploy. There is no way to "reset" it.
Try taking the efi relay out for about a min and than reinstalling,or just remove batteries out and reinstall.
Computer might need resetting by a Tech head with proper diagnostic tool
It could be requesting an airbag service (which usually consists of someone making sure it's still there and then resetting the warning light with a diag. unit) or the ecu has detected something different - a seat has been unplugged or steering wheel removed and re-fitted or often just a loose connection. some diagnostic systems can tell you what caused the problem, it may be worth having it checked but the vehicle should be safe to use without fear of an airbag not deploying. hope this helps.
The SRS, or supplemental restraint system, on your Honda Accord 2002,

responsible for deploying the airbag in the event of an accident. If this system is malfunctioning, the airbag may not deploy properly during an accident. However, the system does warn you of a system malfunction. The yellow "SRS" light on the dash will light up, indicating a problem with the system. Once you've fixed the problem, you need to know how to reset the SRS light on your Accord
An OBD-II scanner won't pick up any codes for you SRS light as it' on a different system. I think only dealers carry these scanners. Your light means your airbags may fail to deploy in an accident or could deploy without any warning
