i would suggest that you check and see if the fuse has blown first.
If it is not the fuse then you will need to remove the instument pannel and replace theburnt out lite bulbs. As they are loceted on the back side of theinstrument pannel.

SOURCE: no reverse lights on bmw e39
This is caused by a fault in your IKE (Instrument Cluster Electronics) module. Has someone attached a scanner to it recently ? Some cheap scanners corrupt the programming of the IKE module. You might be able to use the hidden menu to reset the dash but experience shows it will probably be an expensive trip to BMW to either reprogramme the existing dash or replace the module. I had the same exact thing happen to me. First I disconnected the hateful and that reset it for a few months but ended up rebuilding my grant

They will if the bolt pattern and the height of your old tires are the same as the new rims side by side so roll one next to your car if it's the same height yes your golden don't forget to check the bolt pattern
