The window clips on my Alero broke, On three

common problem and easy to change . aftermarket regulators are around 100$. but if need be remove door panel and use a measuring tape and measure from the bottom inside door upto the bottom of glass when up. cut a 1x3 piece of wood to length and slide it in as a temp solution

Are the clips that you are talking about the plastic ones that ride inside the track and attach to the cable?

Replacement clips are available through specialty auto parts stores...there are many tricks or solvents that will loosen the glue on the broken clip...if you damage the glass, you can find a popular window replacement, inspect the clip too, at your nearby salvage yard or online...Hope this helps.

went to the junk yard, Grand-am's of the same year use the same parts, clips were glued to the window. Once removed bought solvent and more glue to replace on her car. (Three weeks later those also broke. :()

Yes! You have probably already fixed this but I just fixed my window and want to let others know... you DO NOT have to buy the entire window regulator just get those two cheap plastic white clips that hold your window up (which should have never been designed to begin with). These clips are sold as "window guides" and the only place I have seen them sold is at RockAuto.com for $25. The dealerships do not sell them, Napa does not sell them, and I could never find them anywhere else online. You have to specify which window it is (there are two available, one which fits the front left/rear right and one for front right/left rear). I bought the front left which was part #45348. The clips were a bit of a pain to put in but was definitely worth not spending $200-400 on getting done by someone else, plus the parts. I have very basic mechanical skills and was able to do it. I do suggest having someone else help you though so that they can hold the window as you are fitting the clips in.
My window suddenly slipped into my door and once I was able to reach inside I found these clips shattered to pieces. What a pieces of ****!

I'm pretty sure, that is sold as a regulator unit only. And it's not cheap. Sometimes it's cheaper at a glass place than the dealer.

You can't buy the parts separate, You can however purchase aftermarket regulators that are relatively inexpensive

The window regulator is what causes the plastic clip to break. I had the same problem. I was able to find a new clip at advanve auto parts, and had to purchase a regulator which includes the motor from ebay. There were many diffrent options out there. Total cost was about $60.

I also Have this problem, just happened, is their a way to repace this
