It's on the right (passenger) side after the catalytic converter. I hope this helps. Take care.

SOURCE: 2001 Toyota Sequoia Oxygen sensors

No the wires won't likely be the same length

The front upstream sensors, are not the same
Part # as the rear, downstream monitor sensors

Go to Rock Auto.Com & look up your oxygen sensors
I would get the NTK or Bosch,if they have that

You do not replace the rear sensors, until they fail

You replace the front ones at 100,000 miles or sooner,
if they fail

Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 1 , bank 2, heater control -
circuit malfunction

sensor 1 is threaded into the exhaust manifold, passenger side of engine.

  1. Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
  2. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals +B and HT. Resistance: 11 - 16 ohms at 20°C (68°F)
  3. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor. Tighten to 14 ft. lbs. (20 Nm).
  4. Reconnect the oxygen sensor connector.

Where is the o2 sensor located on a 2002 toyota sequoia

There are 4 of them. Two on each exhaust pipe.

One will be before the catalytic converter and one will be after.

Bank 2 is on the passenger side of the car.

Bank 1 is on the drivers side.

position 1 is in front of the cat position is behind the cat.

Each sensor is referred to by bank 1 sensor 2, etc etc.
You have to get at them from under the car. The rear ones are easy to remove the front ones can be an absolute nightmare sometimes.
