Try resetting adaptive values to see if that helps. remove both battery cable terminals and hold them together for about 30 seconds to discharge all power. reconnect and drive.

Why are my brakes locking up on a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe after replacing the master cylinder and brake booster

If your 2003 Santa Fe includes a four wheel anti-lock brake system the brakes should never, ABSOLUTELY NEVER, lock up.

There is a recall on the 3.5 liter 4wd model concerning the ABS.
ID Number Search Results Recalls do not expire, so make sure yours is safe.

Beyond that, one would need more information to diagnose the failure.

  1. Always include the model details (engine, transmission, model designation [GL, GLS, Limited, etc] and drive sysem [fwd,rwd,awd,4wd]) to allow someone to better answer you question.
  2. Describe when the problem occurs. Does it always, sometimes, or intermittently occur?
  3. Is it reproducible? Does it happen only at a specific speed? (over 35, over 50, fast, slow, forward, reverse, turning right, turning left, while you're on the phone)

The Hyundai Santa Fe is 4X2 or 4X4????? Please.

Hello! the 2002 Santa Fe has optional All Wheel Drive (AWD)...Which is permanent (can not be turned off)...If the option is not on your vehicle then it is Front Wheel Drive (FWD) only...The VIN # will tell you if the option is on your vehicle...

My 03 Hyundai Santa Fe is slipping out of gear while im driving

Sounds like the clutch is slipping . You will need a new clutch assembly and fly wheel. Also make sure the crank shaft end play is not excessive.
