SOURCE: factory keyless entry pad code where is it please.

You can take your registration and driver license to a dealer and they can use their diagnostic tool to retrieve it from the computer. It should cost 1/2 hour of labor. Call first & ask.

Also, look in glove box for a plastic "credit card" with the code on it.

SOURCE: 2008 FORD EXPLORER - KEYLESS KEYPAD CODE LOCATION?

For the 2008 Ford Explorer ONLY (SUV). Look under the steering wheel. There is a black fuse box near emergency brake pedal. You will need a flashlight and a dental mirror (very tight space. Look between the lower lid of the box on the slim space to the left side. Take your time, you will see a bar code and 5 above it...That's it! I found mine that way. If you are laying on your back looking up, it's the gap above your right shoulder.GOOD LUCK!

Remove lift gate witch on a 2008 ford excape

You’ll need to remove the hatch trim panel, there are 4 screws that are not excessable until hatch is open. If you carefully pry the panel st the top to release panel clips you’ll be able to access latch mechanisms to open door and finally remove screws st bottom of panel. There’s a little green clip holding a threaded rod , you can try to adjust this rod by gently pushing down so less thread is showing above this clip. May take several times to get adjusted

How can i change factory reset number so no one knows how to open up the freestar van 06

There is no way to modify the factory programmed number, but if you want to change from that one to your own programmed number, do as follows;

  1. First enter the manufacturer's code. Doing so will unlock the driver's door.
  1. Next within 5 seconds depress the 1*2 key on the keypad. This will cause the locks to lock then unlock.
  1. Enter your new 5-digit code. Each digit of the 5-digit code must be entered within 5 seconds of each other. Once entered, give it a second or two for the codes to register. You'll know they registered once the car locks then unlocks.

Can I change the keyless entry code o the keypad located on the driver's front door to something more personal to me so I remember

Yes you can. this is the procedure on how to do it: first enter the factory 5 digit code that came whit the vehicle. Within 5 seconds press the 1/2 button. Then enter the 5 digit personal code that you want to store in there. As you are entering your personal code make sure that you enter each new number within 5 seconds of each other. For memory recall features if you press the 1/2 button as a 6th digit, this will store the driver 1 settings or if you press the 3/4 as the 6th digit, this will store the driver 2 memory settings if you have this feature. your doors will then unlock and lock to confirm that the new personal code has been set. The factory code will always be the code for this vehicle so don't lose this code as you will need it to ever erase or make changes in the future. i hope this helps and good luck.

Reset Door Code 2010 F250

Location of Keyless Code on Computer Module of Ford F250 Superduty ( 2009 )

Finding this code seems to be a common problem, so, here is a better answer to save you the time I spent locating the sticker on the computer module that shows the keyless entry code.

One owners from 2008 F150 XLT Superduty tell me and I suspect the location for a F150 would be very near same location as on a F250

The computer module is mounted high on the firewall approximately behind the a/c fan speed control knob. Here is how to find it / get to it:

1. Remove the large cover under the steering column that covers the fuse block. You'll need to reach in under the dash, with your left arm, to the right of the steering column and left of center to move stuff to get a clear view.

2. Open the storage pocket door on the lower edge of the dash (right of the steering column) and squeeze the back side of the storage pocket to allow the stops to pass to the front. This will allow the opening to be clear to see the computer module up in the dash. Shine your flash light through this opening.

3. Move the first piece of white insulation to the side to see the firewall. Look up through the pocket door, moving the wiring harnesses aside if necessary. You'll find a second white insulation wrapped snugly across the computer module. When you push the insulation up to see the flat surface, you see the 5 digit number printed up-side-down in black on a white sticker. This is your keyless entry code.

Instructions for Programming Keyless Entry Code (from the 2008 Owner's Manual)

KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM (IF EQUIPPED)
You can use the keyless entry keypad to lock or unlock the doors without using a key.

The keypad can be operated with the factory set 5–digit entry code; this code is located on the owner’s wallet card in the glove box, is marked on the computer module, and is available from your authorized dealer. You can also create your own 5–digit personal entry code.

When pressing the controls on the keypad, press the middle of the controls to ensure a good activation.

Programming a personal entry code
To create your own personal entry code:
1. Enter the factory set code. The driver door will unlock.

2. Within five seconds press the 1 • 2 on the keypad.

3. Enter your personal 5-digit code. Each number must be entered within five seconds of each other.

4. The doors will lock then unlock to confirm that your personal keycode has been programmed into the module.

Tips:
• Do not set a code that uses five of the same number.
• Do not use five numbers in sequential order.

Good Luck (remember comment and rated this).

I tried to reprogram the door code and its not working

On my 02 explorer you enter the factory code, then you enter your 5 digit code. Wait 5 seconds or press 7/8 9/0 simultaneously. If you don't have the factory code you can go to your Ford dealer and he can look it up for you. Your personal code don not replace teh factory code, either will unlock the door.

To create your own personal entry code:

2. Within five seconds press the 1 • 2 on the keypad.
3. Enter your personal 5-digit code. Each number must be entered
within five seconds of each other.

personal entry code:
• Pressing 1 • 2 recalls Driver 1 settings.
• Pressing 3 • 4 recalls Driver 2 settings.
• Pressing other keypad buttons or not pressing a keypad button as a

will work
