I am getting a P2006 on my 2006 Mercedes E350. What I read is an indication of intake valve closed. How to start troubleshooting this problem?

P2006 usually indicates a bad flap positioning actuator. Sometimes it can be repaired with a flap kit or you will need to install a new intake manifold.

Here is the video I used to swap out my intake manifold since I could not repair my flap actuators.

It is an intake manifold valve that regulates intake airflow that is not working. Here is a forum that will help you. https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w211/601604-p2006-intake-manifold.html

SOURCE: reset oil change indicator 2008 mercedes benz E350

With the key in position 1, hit the odometer reset button on the left on the cluster 3 times in a row. The cluster should beep once. scroll through the multifunction display with the page buttons until the display shows the onboard voltage screen. It will say something like "UB: 12.2 V" scroll threw this menu with with the up/down until you reach the "service menu" page. scroll down to "confirmation" press +, confirm full service with +. Wait till it says service confirmed. cycle the key off and then back on to position 2. Scroll to the normal service menu where it normally says how many days or miles till next service. If the service was reset correctly, it will say "service display not possible" for a few minutes while it recalculates. You must cycle the key off and back on before it will back out of the onboard diagnostic mode. If you dont back out, the esp/abs/bas lights will illuminate when the car is started

SOURCE: My car has been sitting for 2 years and won't start. The engine turns over but it sounds like not getting gas. I read somewhere to spray gas starting inside air intake valve. Where is the air intake v

Safer is to use 'carburetor cleaner' which is also flammable but a little less dangerous than using gasoline. After sitting a long time, our modern gasoline gets tired; never allow something to sit so long without adding some 'fuel stabilizer.'If possible with your car, I would drain (siphon) the tired gas out and replace it with a few gallons of fresh.
Really tough starting problems can also be overcome with 'starting fluid' which is pure ether and very flammable.Any of these may require the removal of the engine air filter so the liquid gets into the intake manifold.
Stale gasoline can also gum up the fuel injectors which may have to be removed for service if none of the fluids causes the engine to fire.

SOURCE: easy in/out function on Mercedes E350 doesn't work

I will try to help. If the function is to move the seat automatically for entering or exiting the vehicle, then this function is often on a Menu list. Sometimes when an oilchange place resets the oil change interval, the wrong button gets pushed and wipes out the settings for something else, like your in and out assist. It may also happen if the Battery was disconnected.

Now if the power to the seat has a broken fuse, you should check your sseat controls to see if they still move. If not a fuse needs to be changed and a repair made. The loss of power to the seat motor is the reason the automatic movement does not work.

If the steering wheel and column is also tied in to easy access, it may be fused separately and still work.

Ihave a 2002 mercedes clk 430 can't seem to get it started. it turns over but, want start.\r\n PLEASE HELP me!!!!!!!!

Assuming you already have checked there is spark at spark plugs. It sounds like starving fuel. This is a problem with the Cold start valve not working. Its function is to spray fuel to assist the start. The valve needs to have a turn on signal from the ECM which reads the coolant sensor before giving a signal to open the valve.
1- If the coolant sensor gives erratic voltage then ECM will not turn on the cold start valve.
2- IF the ECM give the signal to turn on, the solenoid inside the valve gets stuck then the valve could not turn on.
Troubleshooting is time consuming that is why the cost is high because replacing the wrong expensive parts could not make it work and who bears the cost, plus the shop reputation.
