Question about Dodge Ram
Not too sure what a (2077) is. But as far as the motor is concerned. I would take it to any local auto parts store and have them hook up their ODBII tester. This will identify the fault codes that are obviously happening. Given this new info. you can now make informed decisions on what to address first.
My guess is that the "throttle position sensor" is BAD. AND/OR the "mass air sensor" has issues.
If all that gets you no better off, look at the ECU (electronic control unit). It literally regulates all motor performance.
