2077 ram 4.7 engine dies when put in park? dies at idel? dies when shift from dr to park?

Not too sure what a (2077) is. But as far as the motor is concerned. I would take it to any local auto parts store and have them hook up their ODBII tester. This will identify the fault codes that are obviously happening. Given this new info. you can now make informed decisions on what to address first.
My guess is that the "throttle position sensor" is BAD. AND/OR the "mass air sensor" has issues.
If all that gets you no better off, look at the ECU (electronic control unit). It literally regulates all motor performance.

Just to give an update on my car - I've been having an issue with the car stalling when moving from Park into Reverse or Drive (I have automatic). ... I have been playing with the idle advance trying to get more ... I put in the remainder of the AT fluid I had on hand and the car never died on shifting after that.

1997 Carolla- engine dies when shift to reverse or drive, starts again when put in park. Is this a transmission problem or starter/ignition problem?
Might want to check for any codes first and then while vehicle is running, check for any vacuum leaks.

My toyota 4Runner idels fine when it is in park, but the minute I shift it into drive, before even touching the gas it has a hard shaking idel. What could be wrong?
your problem is the idle air control motor it is not adjusting the idle as you shift out of park, normally engine idle has to be bumped up slightly when in gear. yours is not working must be replaced you will find it at the end of the duct work from the air filter at the intake throttle body.

I have a 1995 silverado after start up , it idels high, engine light comes on, putting it in gear, it jerks, but if I put in back in park while still idel high and tap gas it will go down to normal, then...
May be throttle position sensor. The engine light comes on because of afault signal from one of the sensors. Going out is temporary. After 3 events, the ligh will come on again. It needs to be scanned to find the problem sensor. more than likely the TPS. Good luck

if the nuetral safety was a problem the car would not start at all, sounds like you have a defective engine wiring harness, this is the most common cause of this i have seen while working for Ford.

1998 dodge ram 1500 4WD will not shift out of 2H. maybe im not shifting correctly. stick will not move at all when i try shifting. help?
The best way to do that is to start the engine put the transmittion in neutral with your foot on the brake and pull it out of 2hi,,,put the trans in park then move shifter to 4 hi or lo.

first off you can not de driving down the road and shift into 4 wheel dr. ...... yah have to STOP put in park ,shift into 4 hi then drive do this and let me know how it works for ya........

1997 SATURN SL 4 DR.. HIGH IDEL DURING AND BETWEEN SHIFTS
Pull the engine coolant temp sensor, I know it sounds funny but do it if your looking at the engine it is located on the right side of the head.. chances are the ceramic tip on the sensor is cracked.. 15 dollar fix or so should take away from the high idle.. let me know how it works
