SOURCE: snapped wheel studs on front wheels and need to change them

you have to hammer the studs through the spindle to get them out. then **** the new ones in with a nut and lots of washers. put grease on the washers and threads before you **** the studs in.

SOURCE: Grinding noise on 2002 Olds Bravada

Try making tight turns to the right and then to the left. see if the grinding noise comes and goes. It could be your C/V joint and they need to be replaced. The noise will only come when your making the tight turns, you don't have to go fast. Walking speed will do and you can hear it with the window open or someone walking beside the Bravada. Good luck and keep me posted. Be glad to help.

SOURCE: Put vehicle in reverse, backed up, turned wheel

Woah. This is a new one, but it sounds like your rack is binding up and causing this friction. It could be a pump problem, so check the power steering pump belt tension and fluid level. Short of that, you need to get your front end looked at. I'm not being "extra careful" here when I say this - you should get it towed to the service center and not drive it. This thing could get you hurt. . Good luck.

Rear wheels do not engage in 2 wheeldrive and front wheels on engage in 4 wheel drive??

If driveshaft to rear end spins then you have something broken in the rear end. If the driveshaft doesn't spin then problem with transfercase.

WHEN TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL IT VIRBRATES

If you are turning the steering wheel all the way to the "lock" position, you are probably putting too much pressure on your power steering pump and you are most likely getting som drive-belt slippage.

I recently had to replace the axel shaft along with numerous other parts on the passenger side of my 02 bravada and now it's making a howling sound when i turn. why?

Possibly bad wheel bearing/hub assembly. There is one for each front wheel. Usually if it quiets down turning left, then the front left would be bad and vice versa.

Is the front driveshaft suppose to turn in 2 wheeldrive

Yes, unless you have installed lock out hubs on the truck. The shaft is being driven by the front wheels. Lock out hubs let the front wheels freewheel and save wear and tear and (maybe) a little gas.

WHEN I TURN THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT WHILE BACKING IN OR PULLING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE, THE BRAVADA 2002 DOESN'T SEEM TO WANT TO MOVE, AND AS I GIVE IT MORE GAS IT GRINDS WHILE TRYING TO...

There are two possible causes - both of which happened to me. First, the fluid that is in the transfer case from the factory is not adequate and the transfer case will bind causing the differential action on the front wheels to malfunction. There is a new fluid called something like "Royal Purple" (I don't remember the exact name) that needs to be put in. If you have the dealer do it, the cost is well north of $100. The fluid is expensive (like $15/qt) but it only takes a couple of quarts as I recall and there is a web site that shows how to replace the fluid (it is not terribly difficult for those that know their way around drain plugs, etc).

The other possibility is a mechanical problem in the transfer case itself. It is a very complicated device and on mine a snap ring broke and part of the ring caused and electrical motor inside to short out and burn up. Because GM used too cheap of a snap ring (5 cents instead of the better 10 cent one), it cost me over $1,000 to fix it. Just hope that is not your problem.
