Question about 2001 Ford Windstar
You should check again because either a caliper seal or a line is letting fluid escape and yes it also could be leaking into the booster from seals in the master cylinder un bolt it and push it forward to check for fluid leaking past the seals on the master cylinder also make sure the top is tight on the reservoir also check all the way down the left side from the master cylinder to the rear wheels especially at the proportional valve and and the line block fittings for each wheel there has to be a wet spot on something fill up the fluid and pump the brakes without moving then inspect everything and also make sure you have thick linings on the pads

Possible coolant leak on hot engine parts causing it to evaporate as it leaks. That would definitely invade the cabin air.
You would need to carefully check under the hood with the engine warmed up and running.
Also could be a headgasket failure between coolant channels and a combustion chamber. This latter problem sometimes shows itself as vapor at the tailpipe after there should be no more visible. You may also detect the odor of coolant there too.

Hi, first you disconnect the battery. then you need to take the belt off by the back pulley. But you don't need to take it all the way off. Just so you get the alternator belt off. I just replaced the one on my 1997. Then you have three bolts, and one small nut to remove . Then put all back together the way you took them off.

Hello, You have debris in the rear brake assembly. The rear wheels have 2 sets of brakes. There are service brakes and Emergency brakes. The sensors that count the wheel revolutions for the ABS system get blinded by loose debris when the Emergency brake pads fall apart.
When you back up, the loose debris shifts from where it was packed going forward and falls in front of the sensors when you go in reverse. You need to have the rear Emergency brakes checked.
I hope my solution is very helpful to you.
