My dodge ram 2005 1500 hemi smells like gas when I

I'm not sure you would smell a fuel leak from the tank while driving, the tank is located to the rear of the cab, under the bed on the driver's side, you may however have a leak in or near the engine compartment. If this is the case, yes a fire is possible. If you smell fuel when you come to a stop, it may be your fuel cannister, or vent lines are leaking which should trigger a check engine light.
While the engine is running, Check the fuel rails and schrader valves on both sides of the engine manifold for leaks. You can also turn the key to the "RUN" position (do not start the engine.) this will cycle the fuel pump to run for a few seconds to pressurize the fuel system, and you can then check for a fuel leak.
I hope this is helpful to you.

Antfreeze leak not allowing belt to get traction where might the antifreeze be coming from and how can fix it

check all the hoses. next, check the water pump, should be behind the fan. If the bearings have gone bad in the water pump, it can sometimes leak coolant everywhere.

Antifreeze smell in cab, blows warm air not hot

It sounds like you have a leaking heater core. Look for a wet spot on the carpet. There is a slight chance the smell is coming from inside the engine compartment. There could be a small leak from a hose in the engine compartment.

When driving i smell antifreeze on my 2000 dodge ram 1500

Check your level. If it's low, you have a leak. If you smell it inside, it may be a heater core problem. Get it pressure tested if you don't see any leaks. This will find it.

Clear liquid dripping under car near center ac has not been on don't smell like antifreeze under dash at the back of console is wet also don't smell like antfreeze

have you been using the defroster or defogger because these also run the compressor causing condensation....

since you said there's also condensation near your dash vents, it leads be to believe that the fluid will not be brake fluid or hydraulic fluid.

When heater is on i smell coolant

Hi

This is caused by a leak in either the heater core itself or the hoses connecting to the heater core.

Rust and corrosion can clog the tiny passages in your heater core. Sometimes the block becomes so severe that pressure builds up in the heater core causing it to spring a leak of coolant - enough to give off the smell you describe.

You can find examples of the heater core at this link
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/shop_parts/heater_core/dodge/ram_50.html

Solution: Replace heater core or hoses depending on what you find.

Hope this helps. Please do rate this answer. Many Thanks.

My 2000 dodge ram runs for about 10 minutes and stops, wont crank

Check your inline fuel filter also check your plugs wires for wear. Sounds like a possible Vacuum leak, when not starting. How ever strong smell suggests unburnt fuel. You may want to try a fuel system cleaner to remove any moisture in the fuel system and carbon build up in the exhaust if so try Seafoam available at your local auto parts store. See Seafoam on youtube for videos

Exhaust smell in cabin of 2001 dodge ram

Is it exhaust or is it a fuel smell? Exhaust, i would say you almost have to have a leak, check the manifolds and the head pipe really well. Check to see if ti even has an EGR valve at the rear of the intake to the top of the intake manifold, it depends on the emissions label it has under the hood, federal or california. If it is more of a fuel smell check to be sure all of the charcole canister lines and hoses are hooked up and not gone or broken.
