Question about Lexus Cars & Trucks

Where is the fuel pump relay located in a 2006 lexus es330. We have looked and searched in both the engine relay box and the fuse box under the dash and only found fuel injector system fuses and all of them are good. In fact the motor runs with gas directly put into the engine and the fuel pump works with a test wire directly hooked to battery. I traced tje powet wire from fuel pump to a multi wire clip under the fuse box. Where the power wire for the fuel pump is is not getting power. The float clip wire hookup in the fuel pump is working so i am stumped. I think whatever is powering the fuel pump power wire is not supplying power anymore. And everything else is working fine and noone online or in person can seem to find a fuse or relay that goes to the fuel pump and like i said we have triple checked all efi and ignition fuses and relays in the car and changed them around and they all are working. The manual has no info on this either. I need help.

Switch the horn relay with the c/op relay to see if it’s the relay. I don’t know why they have to give u complicated answers.

At the fuel pump relay you should have 1 full time hot wire. 1 hot wire when you turn on the switch. 1 ground, and the other wire goes to the pump. Test the ground to be sure it is good. If so then jump a hot to the one that goes to the pump and see if it runs.If it does then you have a bad relay or ECM. You can swap the relay with another of the same # from tour fuse box to test it.There is also a ground on top of the frame near the filler neck, check it too. Good Luck

Did you verify that the relay terminals have the appropriate signals to them?

ECM fuse B (20-amp) should provide power at all times to the orange wire of the fuel pump relay. The relay coil receives ground via the black wire, and relay coil gets power from the dark green/white wire. When the relay is closed, you should have battery power on the gray wire.

The relay trigger wire should have power from the dark green/white wire in terminal 1 of the Vehicle Control Module (VCM) connector for the first couple of seconds after they key is turned to run (to prime the system) and when the truck is running. Checking for all the appropriate signals at the relay is where I would start. That is after I checked for diagnostic codes.

Believe the fuel relay is the middle relay out of the three in the left rear of the glove box. Last thing is to hot wire the fuel pump if you can not get it scanned, see if the pump is bad unless your going to have a shop work on changing the fuel pump.

To answer your question specifically it would be no. There
is no inertia switch that feeds the fuel pump that can be turned off or reset . The engine control computer turns on a series of two different relays to control power to the fuel pump. When in the start position the circuit opening relay and the fuel pump relay or both energize causing the fuel pump to run at full pressure or fast speed. From there the engine control computer determines which demand is on the fuel pump and either turns off the fuel pump relay and leaves
the circuit opening relay on to supply power through a resistor to slow the pump down for less demand. The EFI main relay is the main supply relay to both of these sub relays. The fuel pump is powered up ultimately by the 20 amp EFI number one fuse. All of these components are located in the fuse box under the hood. If the circuit opening relay is not working it's powered up by the 10 amp
ignition fuse inside the vehicle. It's unlikely it is the 10 amp ignition fuse because that powers up a lot of other things also.

No current too fuel pump relay

Fuse bank should be in a black box under the hood in the engine compartment, usually its close to the battery.

Trying to find the location of the fuel pump relay in a 1997 4cyc outback looked under driverside dash but didnt find it

most fuel pump relays are located in the main fuse box,under the hood. look for a black box on the drivers side,or passenger side fenderwell under the hood. lift cover off and look on underside of the fuse box lid for location of the fuel pump relay and main engine fuse.hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com

How do I fix lighter fuse in 2005 Lexus ES330?

under the controls for the side view mirrors, behind the coin holder cup. open the coin cup & pull up on the cup until it pops out of place. on the back of the coin cup is the fuse diagram. its the "cig" on the 3rd column, top row, "15a". there are some spare fuses under the hood. open the hood & its on the right of the engine in the black box that's about 10in by 4in big. open the cover & look at the fuse diagram & look for the spares on the top right.

My fuel pump has no power I am trying to find the Fuel pump RELAY but I can not located, could you please tell me where is it? its a Camry 1996 V6

as far as i remember there should be relay box under the hood in the engine compartment and it should be labeled as what is inside and exact location on the lid. try that . if not there than look under the dash left side .
