Check the plug wires for those 2 cylinders, next check the injectors, as they can cause misfire when defective.

Has the ECM been checked, and all the igniotion connectors.

Have the fuel injectors checked you may have a bad one or two, or possibly bad gas, or a low fuel pressure problem.

WHERE CAN I FIND THE THE #3 IGNITION COIL ON 2010 LINCOLN MKZ

The #3 cylinder is at the rear right of the engine. There is 1 coil located at each cylinder. You can buy either OEM or good aftermarket replacement on line and save a bunch. Just buy a brand name with a warranty.

Is there an erg valve on a honda accord 2008 4 cyl

code p0300 refers to--random/multiple cylinder/s misfire detected...Causes---spark plugs---HT leads---injectors---ignition coils ---low compression ---wiring
code p0302 refers to cylinder 2 misfire detected Causes ---engine mechanical fault---wiring---ignition/fuel system ---ECT/MAF sensors ECM
code po303 refers to cylinder 3 misfire detected Causes Engine mechanical fault---wiring---ignition/ fuel system ---injector---ECT/MAF sensor ECM The common fault to all is the fuel/system ignition
I would have the injectors checked and have a pressure test done on the fuel manifold to check pump and fuel regulator valve.

I have a 2008 dodge avenger se and my engine light is on and was flashing before. when it is in drive or park it turns off when i stop. i took it to auto zone and the told me that cylinder 3 and 4 misfire...

Possible causes:
Faulty spark plug
Clogged or faulty fuel injector
Faulty ignition coil
Fuel injector
Harness is open or shorted
Fuel injector circuit has poor electrical connection
Ignition coil harness is open or shorted
Ignition coil circuit poor electrical connection
Insufficient cylinder compression
Incorrect fuel pressure
Intake air leak

The P0304 code means that the cylinder 4 is misfiring or is randomly misfiring. Start by checking for intake leaks and if no leaks are found the next step is to replace the spark plugs on cylinder 4.

2008 Lincoln MKZ with 12 codes errors. Common is a cylinder misfire. Also, oil leak out of top of engine after vehicle is warmed up. Engine not firing properly. Foes this sound like a a valve seal issue...

got more then a common issue--u need to search for any bullitins on ur model--may just need a tuneup-change plug wires-test coil and ignition module--dont just replace parts with the code problems-get a data stream done-it gives the solution--secure a repair manual

Multiple cylinder misfire, codes P0354, P0356, P0357, P0361

clean the MAF, Mas Air Flow Sensor in the air intake tube first. Use carb cleaner or MAF cleaner. Do not touch the 2 sensor wires that you spray. delicate!!

ALso, put a bottle of Chevron Techron Fuel injector cleaner in the fuel tank, 1/4 tank or less.

Try that first. Also, replace spark plugs, put antiseize on the threads. Last resort is to replace the COPS, Coil on plug for each offending cylinder.

Misfire Definition: A misfiring cylinder is lacking power relative to the other cylinders. The causes for a cylinder specific misfire could be fuel, spark, or mechanical problems. Perform a thorough visual inspection. If no visible concerns are found use the following WDS tools for misfire diagnosis:
  • Self-test (Check for codes first)
  • Power Balance (Identify the cylinder of concern)
  • Relative Compression (Rule out a possible mechanical issue)
  • Fuel (Make sure fuel injectors are not restricted) (plugged)
  • Ignition (Make sure spark plugs and coils are working properly)
  • Oscilloscope (Detailed signal analysis)
